Drop it one or two more clicks until you hear the tone of the brush head get noticeably lower as it pushes hard against the carpet. Then take it back up one click. That will be an optimal height for cleaning and the brush head will actually help propel the unit as you clean; more of an assist vs. self propelled.

Answer:	No No No Lol, do not use soap it will ruin the filter faster, it gets stuck in the micro fibers, I repair vacuums and Steamers and hear and see this all the time, wash filters w water only let dry 24 to 48 hrs, drying in sun is fine, completely dry before putting back in you can use a scent tabs on the side top of the filter, also you can spray Lysol or disinfectant on the carpet {test small area to make sure no stain} and run the vacuum over it, and of course new filters, recommended every 2 years, if you have pets or kids or both every year, if cleaning service more often

Answer:	Hi Madeline. I did a brief review of the nv356e at the Amazon site, compared to the 360 (which I own). The 356e claims to have a 9.5" vacuum path, while the 360 is 11". The 360 is 15 or so lbs, the 356e is 14 lbs. It appears the technology and mechanical functioning of the models are nearly identical. Attachments are also similar. I own two of the 360s, which I bought from Target. I'm very happy with them.

Answer:	Same problem here. Mine is going back too. Wife has one at our Florida home and it also does the same thing. Brush also seems to have a lot of trouble restarting as well.

Answer:	I had the 50010 for 8 years, and just purchased the 50020 today after the other person living in my house dropped and broke it. The differences I see are: The 020 has way better smooth rolling wheels, my 010 was noisy on hardwoods, this one feels padded and it quiet and rolls much better. The 020 also has covered rear wheels where as 010 are exposed. The 020 has a black color scheme the 010 is silver. The 020 has a slightly larger canister/dust bin, but I think this might be in width as I believe the old canister fits. Canister on 020 is smoke colored, on 010 it is clear. You can see content easilt on both. Interior canister plastic dust filter on 020 is clear, on 010 its red they apear the same dimensions and are interchangeable, however the fit of this in connection is tighter on the 020. My 010 was old and mucky, but I believe the 020 has better picking up off the side like when I clean at a floorboard. I also feel relatively confident that it possibly has a slightly better battery life, although both use same battery. Both use same filter and filter holder, same power switch scheme, same method of attaching / detaching head, assembly (one screw to attach handle to body), and both have a visible battery meter in the same location. The 020 of course is the updated version. My local box store only had this one in stock.

I carry the IFAK and the Tri-fold as well as extra FA gear at all times. so I don't consider the dimensions and weight to be an issue. I'd still recommend that you get this (actually 2) and cut and form as need be to have it with you at all times. Answer:	it does an excellent job, but is not a substitute for vacuum. the dirt is sucked up into the sweeper, and there are 2 buttons to squeeze to empty the dirt. all of the little brushes underneath can be taken out to clean them. mine does a good job on cat litter. the only thing you must be careful about is: DON'T LEAVE THE BATTERY PLUGGED IN OVERNIGHT! this will totally wear it out and you'll need a new one.
