Answer:	I bought this as a gift but as I remember it was a washable/reusable filter. The recipient of the gift LOVES it and has 2 children (3&5) who are all into cleaning. They could not be more happy. Lots of dog and cat hair in that thing. My hairdresser has one at her shop and raves about it.

Answer:	I can tell you from the standpoint of a hair salon owner. We quickly sweep hair up in between clients. We sweep it right over in front of it and it sucks it up. I'll use an actual vacuum cleaner when I'm deep cleaning the salon top to bottom, corner to corner. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I have purchased both the pro and home versions (the pet pro). Personally we like the home version better. The home one actives faster and sucks up the debris much better then the other one. We are considering ordering another home version for another part of the house. We have cats and no matter which you decide on they are awesome. They are easy to clean, and the pet hair, litter kicked out of the liter box is gone fast, and pet food gone off the floor. Since we have a couple of cats who always pull the food out of the dishes this has been a plus for cleanup. I did order extra filters so when one is drying after washing my eye-vac is still in use.

Plus, I live in the country with dirt roads, so dust, grit and dog hair is a daily occurrence. I also have parrots, so vacuum cleaners come to my house to die. Question:	Are there parts on the vacuum cleaner that would scratch the wood floors
Answer:	I would definitely buy it for hard floors and tile, it works great for daily pick up of hair and general dust. it's lightweight and easy to use but most important you won't have to pick up the sweepings from a broom.
Question:	How good is this vacuum in picking up dust on hardwood floors
Answer:	I didn't have any cheerios but did have wheat chex. I gave the test and it ate it right up!! So yes..it will suck up cheerio-sized pieces. I vacuum up a lot of beauty bark that our dog tracks in.
Question:	how does the bissel pet vacuum deal with pet hair
Answer:	I use the Breeze system of kitty litter and it works fine. These pellets are larger than regular little so I'm sure it will work.
Question:	does it pick up kitty litter
Answer:	Yes, I have 2 chihuahuas and their bedroom is carpeted and this one does a good job, I owned it since 2014 and just twice I had to take it apart and cleaned very carefully between the handle and the base but that’s it, I have a roomba and a bigger heavy duty vacuum and the sharp is my first choice unless I forgot to put it back in the charge.
