Answer:	Same problem here. Mine is going back too. Wife has one at our Florida home and it also does the same thing. Brush also seems to have a lot of trouble restarting as well.

Answer:	I had the 50010 for 8 years, and just purchased the 50020 today after the other person living in my house dropped and broke it. The differences I see are: The 020 has way better smooth rolling wheels, my 010 was noisy on hardwoods, this one feels padded and it quiet and rolls much better. The 020 also has covered rear wheels where as 010 are exposed. The 020 has a black color scheme the 010 is silver. The 020 has a slightly larger canister/dust bin, but I think this might be in width as I believe the old canister fits. Canister on 020 is smoke colored, on 010 it is clear. You can see content easilt on both. Interior canister plastic dust filter on 020 is clear, on 010 its red they apear the same dimensions and are interchangeable, however the fit of this in connection is tighter on the 020. My 010 was old and mucky, but I believe the 020 has better picking up off the side like when I clean at a floorboard. I also feel relatively confident that it possibly has a slightly better battery life, although both use same battery. Both use same filter and filter holder, same power switch scheme, same method of attaching / detaching head, assembly (one screw to attach handle to body), and both have a visible battery meter in the same location. The 020 of course is the updated version. My local box store only had this one in stock.

Answer:	Thou I haven’t tried it myself I would say def would be able to use on a mattress. I used it to disinfect my sofas. Just make sure you are constantly moving and do not keep in one spot for too long to avoid any wet spots and getting your mattress or sofa too wet. Use the attachment and should do the trick.

Answer:	This one is yellow and black and not blue and white to indicate it is for more serious use! But, as far as I can tell there are two real differences: this comes with two of the heavy duty pads instead of one heavy duty and one regular, and it comes with more tools. In reality, many people will never use the extra tools, and you can buy more pads pretty easily (I bought a pack of 3 heavy duty ones, so I always have a clean one). So in the end, do you want one that matches your kitchen decor or one that fits better in your garage?

Answer:	I would go straight to the source on the black and decker website. I saw many differences listed in the specs on there. This biggest one I think that would make a difference is the suction power and washable filter.
Question:	is it good at picking up pet hair
Answer:	This vacuum is great on hard surfaces for pet hair. If the pet hair is typically hard to vacuum up because it is on cloth or carpet, not so great. It works very good to pick up loose crumbs on carpet, though. I have two cats that shed and I wholeheartedly recommend, instead, the Eureka EasyClean 71B corded handheld vacuum for pet hair on furniture. It is the only vacuum that will pick up cat hair on my velour couches because of the strong suction and rotating brushes. It is extremely important to clean the filter to keep the suction strong on both of these handheld vacuums. The filter on this Black and Decker CHV1410L is underneath the green filter cover that twists off. The easiest and most effective way to clean the filters for me is to use a shop vac on them. Of course, any vacuum with a hose attachment would work.
Question:	How many years of use have you gotten before it doesn't stay charged
Answer:	This is the second time I bought this model: 1st time in 2013 and 2nd time in 2016. Both vacuums lasted for 2.5 years before loosing charge quickly. The vacuum was always heavily used (every day, several times a day).
Question:	Is the charging dock a wall hanging "snap in" type
Answer:	My wife didn't want it taking up shelf space, so she hung it from a wall hook ( where our old vac used to hang) and just set the charging disk on the bottom now the top.

Answer:	Actually, the vacuum is very, very small. (read the specs.) When I got mine, I couldn't believe that it was in such a small box, but it was. Without the stick extension, it is extremely small, but isn't that a Good thing?

Answer:	I have yet to run out of battery power before I finish a job. Stairs took at least 15 mins. It is kind of small for stairs though. I use the small 6 inch attachment from my regular vacuum cleaner on it and that worked out well.

Answer:	Not sure as have not owned previous model. I can tell you I can clean two cars, probably fifteen minutes on one charge without loosing suction.

Answer:	That is specifically what I use it for. I use the silica crystal litter by Fresh Step. It picks the little bits perfectly. Do it daily, and it's a quick job. Also, I keep the kitties out of rooms with carpets, so this sucks everything off the hard surfaces no problem at all.
Question:	How many volts is this
Answer:	This product has changed over the years and despite have the exact same model #, HHVI320JR02, it is a different vacuum cleaner than the identical model # was just two years ago. The differences is that the older model: - had a 16 volt Li-Ion battery, not the 9 Volt or even 12 volts that some hear claim. - has a base charger that sat on a flat surface and the vacuum sat on it. the new one has a plug in charger and a wall mount that does not have any charging. This is a bad design in that now I need to unplug the charger and then lift off the mount. Before you would just lift it off the base. So why would Black and Decker make these two changes: money! It cost less to put a smaller battery in and get rid of the metal charging base. And why not change the model # to reflect these changes? This is false and misleading advertising.

Answer:	My charge usually holds for about 20-30 minutes after charging for a few hours. Might have to charge for an initial 24 hours and see. If not, contact company for replacement. This hand vac is powerful and gets into all spaces.

Answer:	I did not use them on the sliding door tracks but I do use it in the groove of windows. works great. Keep the vac held straight up and down or the blower portion will spread the dirt around.

Answer:	You could, but it would be quite a chore. This is a spot cleaner not intended for cleaning the carpet in an entire room. For that large of an area you would want an upright rug cleaner. Even a light duty upright would be better for such an area than this Hoover Spotless.

Answer:	Overall like the spot bot better, have both, use bot more often, just easier.
Question:	How does this do on pet stains
Answer:	It works great. I fill a sprayer with boiling hot water, use a carpet detergent to loosen the stain, and the spot scrubber to lift it from the item so stained. The sprayer is used just ahead of the spot scrubber vacuum tool and all of the gunk goes into the easily dumpable tank. I put distilled water in the wash tank and finish with that so no dissolved mineral residue remains (which sometimes makes a ring when the cleaned item drys). Works great and easy to clean (use a little of the boiling water followed with a distilled water flush).

Answer:	We have tested it on carpet spots of several sizes, types, and ages. For any stain that's same-day, it'll clean it out really well, way better than any spot cleaning solution will. For spots that are a few days old, it will do pretty well, but you may have a slight tinge left over and/or you may have to go over the spot a few times. For older stains, you'll probably be left with some staining even after a few go-overs, but it will look much better than it did before. It can even make a very noticeable difference on stains that are several years old.The caveats - it's a small cleaner, so cleaning anything larger than a fist-sized spot is going to take a pretty long time (15-30 mins+ for each go-over, depending on how deep the stain is), and it can end up cleaning a spot so well that it becomes cleaner than the surrounding area, which would required a larger floor steam cleaner to even everything out.But yes, if your carpet is at risk for small stains, and you're good with breaking this out same day, then absolutely this will take most spots out of carpets.

The brushes are all the same material (aside from the optional brass brush) but the color difference is for keeping them apart which gives you the option to use one color in one area. So you could for instance use only the red brush in your bathroom and the green brush in your kitchen.

Answer:	From new, the rechargeable cells of the product needs a minimum charge time of 16 hours to ensure full power. We suggest you fully discharge the product when it is used for the first time as this will help the cells recharge faster. After the first charge, the product will charge by 9 hours. The Pivot (BDH2000PL) has the strongest suction and packs down the smallest for storage. If you're just looking for huge power in a convenient storage size this is the one you want. The Flex With Floor Head (BDH2020FLFH and BDH1620FLFH) are the most versatile and have the longest run time.
