Answer:	The unit I have is 4.25" by 9" and it fits very nicely in my tri-fold medics bag as isyou can of course take this out of the package and reform it and if need be cut it down to fit most any bag, in fact, with a little work it should fit inside the IFAK. to let you know - mine is not rolled up but rather it is folded in half twice. it weighs 147 grams. I hope this help. another point is that I placed it as is (9" length) to my forearm and it's perfect.. This is really dependent on what you're after. I carry the IFAK and the Tri-fold as well as extra FA gear at all times. so I don't consider the dimensions and weight to be an issue. I'd still recommend that you get this (actually 2) and cut and form as need be to have it with you at all times. My thought is that I'd rather spend the money and have it and not use it than to need it and not have it. there are always workarounds.I hope this helps you.

Answer:	Nope - They are designed to cut out noise at higher levels. Solid earplugs are best to cut out noise from birds, footsteps, keyboards (even loud breathing). With these earmuffs you will likely still hear these "quiet sounds". Now if you are around leaf blowers, lawn tractors, heavy machinery, .50 caliber guns, or the like you will be happy with the comfort level that these muffs provide!

Answer:	You can not determine if this replacement chain will work or not without knowing the model of the Stihl chainsaw. Each model has it won specifications for pitch and link count. This chain is a .325 pitch with 62 links. That would make it compatible with a Stihl chainsaw that requires that specific chain ONLY. Stihl has several different 18" saw models and they have different specifications for their chains. I would not buy any replacement chain without knowing and matching the specifications. It can also be dangerous, not even work, or damage the chainsaw. Research the correct chain and buy the exact replacement accordingly.

There are several gauges of saw chain, .043”, .050", .058” and .063". Normal wear can make it difficult to accurately measure chain gauge on a worn chain. Always order by the number stamped on the drive link of your old chain to assure correct gauge and you should be OK.

Answer:	This is a sweeper, not a vacuum. It does not suck the dirt up. It prefers harder surfaces. If you are looking for something to pick up on carpet and along baseboards, you'd be better off getting a vacuum. It does pick up kitty litter fine thiugh, just on hard surfaces.

Answer:	This sweeper is quiet, however if it seems to be making a little noise check to see if it needs cleaning out. Manufacturer suggests empty after each use and check your brushes. It's amazing how it picks up.

Answer:	I don't have hardwood, but I don't see why it wouldn't. It works well on other non-rug surfaces.

Answer:	no, YOU pick up the paper clips..vacuums are not made for picking up paper clips..

Answer:	There is a HEPA filter in front of the vacuum, you lift the door from the bottom and you can take it out and wash it. and then you lift the canister out from the base ( like you're emptying the canister of dirt.) You will find 2 foam filters there. lift them both out and wash those too. Just dont throw in washing machine or dishwasher. I use dish detergent and wash them off in the sink. Just make sure they are completely dry before putting them back on the vacuum. After a dozen or so washings they will break down ( you will know this ) extra filters can be purchased on EBay or Amazon or other websites. I usually clean the foam filters when they are a very dark brown or gray color,then i also wash the HEPA filter also. Good luck! Question:	What is the difference between Shark NV 352 and the NV
Answer:	The 352 has a 25 foot cord, the 356 (professional) is 30', the hard floor tools are different. The 356 has a microfiber 'dust pad' that goes over the hardwood floor attachment. The 352's hard floor attachment has a 'V' shape to funnel debris no pad, but it does have a duster attachment both available to purchase separately. The dust cup on the 356 is larger and the overall machine is 2 lbs heavier then the 352. 356 also comes with a bag for the tools where my 352 did not. The other tools all appear to be the same on both models. They both run the same amps and can be converted into canister mode as well, but are aesthetically different.
Question:	Why is the little rectangle on the side sucking in so much air and causing it not to work
Answer:	I can answer that question specifically because it happened to me and caused me to give this vacuum an erroneously poor review. My shark lasted for just under four years and was amazing. THEN it started sucking air like crazy though that rectangle and suction dropped by 80%. I did everything to fix it ... cleaned all the filters, checked all the hoses ... nothing fixed it. I was about to put it to the curb for the garbage man when something told me to check it out one last time. Well to make a long story short ... if you open your dust canister, there is a conical thing in the middle with mesh screen sides. That mesh was clogged with dust/dirt. On a hunch I cleaned it with a toothbrush (extremely difficult and awkward job) and guess what? The suction is back 100% and my Shark is back like when it brand was new. NOTE WELL. NOWHERE in the manual does it suggest that this area should be cleaned. I hope this answer is not too late for you.

Answer:	This vacuum works on all types of flooring: laminate, tile, wood, marble, travertine, etc. I have never had a problem with it scratching.

Answer:	I ordered the $24.99 blue version. I honestly can not say why there's a price difference between the 3 models offered as they, to me, appear to be the same in all respects but color when I study their photos (noticing that the listed attributes do not change at all between models). I can say that I am so very pleased with my $24.99 / blue vacuum because it does exactly what I bought it for (tiled floors &low pile throw rugs) and taking advantage of the hand-held changeability is huge (***** great at sussing "stuff" out of cracks between stove & cabinetry, and snatching creepy-crawlies off the ceiling)

Answer:	It looks like it should stand up to a number of gentle light cleaning/brush-offs and several washes, but it would be convenient to have at least one spare, so I can use that while the other one is drying. Be careful, there are a number of Bissell featherweight vacuums, and they take different filters. Bissell part number 1611508 is hard to find, but with the part number in hand, I found my local vacuum repair shop was able to order it ($4.99, no s&h), and I was able to order it from Bissell.com ($3.75 +$5.95 s&h) and partswarehouse.com ($4.99 & $5.98 S&h)

Answer:	I am not an amazon purchaser for this item but while looking for replacement blades, I came accross this. From what I have seen thus far.... the replacement blades are hard to find. There are generic blades offered from $10 to $20 but I don't know if they fit... I need to get the specific measurements of the blades to see. After the first afternoon, the blades were dull enough that we had to help the wood in since it stopped pulling it in. Rotated the blades and it worked great again. One of the blades broke after the second day of work. There were no nails or wires in the wood at all. The manufacturer does not have an option to order blades, you have to fill out a form and wait for a reply from them. Hopefully I can find a reasonable substitute... for the cost of 5 sets of blades... you get the cost of an entire shredder at $20. Saw some for $10 but if the Cheaper one is "cheaper" $20 may be the way to go.

Answer:	Those people did not sharpen the machined blades from the factory, you should take the blades out and sharpen them, then polish them with a good stone .. the blades are actually very good steel, and they're double sided, so you can flip them over when they actually do get dull (mine are still very sharp), so you won't have to sharpen more than probably once a year or once every two years, depending on how much you use them .. they are not cheap blades, and should last the life of the machine. I sharpen my chisels for woodwork, and the chipper blades are a high quality steel. The reason people have these disappointments is because they expect plug and play, and that is not how machined tools work .. you have to put a sharp, polished finish on machined blades.

Answer:	I had a problem with my plush carpeting. The suction was so much it was hard to push. WOW, there is an adjustable collar to reduce the suction. Works great.

Answer:	ANY vacuum with a beater brush can be adjusted to be easier to use on the carpet. Start with the cleaner on the carpet you want to clean, with the head raised as high as it will go. Turn it on and start to lower the brush head slowly, one click at a time. You will hear the tone change when the brush makes contact with the carpet. Drop it one or two more clicks until you hear the tone of the brush head get noticeably lower as it pushes hard against the carpet. Then take it back up one click. That will be an optimal height for cleaning and the brush head will actually help propel the unit as you clean; more of an assist vs. self propelled.
Question:	We have only had our vacuum for a few weeks, and it smells like dog when we turn it on. What can we do
Answer:	No No No Lol, do not use soap it will ruin the filter faster, it gets stuck in the micro fibers, I repair vacuums and Steamers and hear and see this all the time, wash filters w water only let dry 24 to 48 hrs, drying in sun is fine, completely dry before putting back in you can use a scent tabs on the side top of the filter, also you can spray Lysol or disinfectant on the carpet {test small area to make sure no stain} and run the vacuum over it, and of course new filters, recommended every 2 years, if you have pets or kids or both every year, if cleaning service more often

Answer:	Hi Madeline. I did a brief review of the nv356e at the Amazon site, compared to the 360 (which I own). The 356e claims to have a 9.5" vacuum path, while the 360 is 11". The 360 is 15 or so lbs, the 356e is 14 lbs. It appears the technology and mechanical functioning of the models are nearly identical. Attachments are also similar. I own two of the 360s, which I bought from Target. I'm very happy with them.

Answer:	Currently I have not used any accessories. I just use it as a floor vacuum, so I had to go looking for the accessories that came with it. I may not have found every single one that came with it, but I think I did, so the short answer: it comes with at least 5 attachments and a floor caddy. They are as follows: Dusting Brush (1185FC500), 12 inch Crevice Tool (X11FC500), Large Power Brush (X13FC500), Multi-Angle Dusting Brush (X15FC500), Straight Suction Floor Nozzle (XSN500), and finally the Canister Caddy (X16FC500). Question:	is it light weight
Answer:	That's difficult to answer as it's all relative. It seems light to me, but it might not to you. It weighs in at about 1 lb more than the comparable Dyson, so some might say its heavy. I don't pick mine up a whole lot, so 1 lb isn't a deal breaker for me. It weighs about 15 lbs. Your call on if that's light or heavy.
Question:	What about the filters? The infomercial never mentions them as far as need for cleaning, replacement, or ease of removing and cleaning
Answer:	We don't have this model, but do have a similar (cheaper) Navigator Lift-away model that recommends cleaning the filter every 3 months. We use it to vacuum a small professional office and an 1800-square foot home once a week. I clean the filter in warm water every 1-2 weeks as the foam one, especially, gets very dirty/dusty. It doesn't take long, but they do have to dry before next use so I usually do it the night before I vacuum, absorb excess water on a towel-rag, then leave to dry overnight. I'd rather wash it than tap it out as another user suggested because the I don't want the dust to fly everywhere after I went to the trouble of vacuuming. The HEPA filter to be cleaned every 12 months takes a lot longer to dry (few days) but that's ok since we clean it so rarely.

Answer:	I own the Rotator but have no experience with the Navigator. Googling comparisons though the main difference seems to be that the Rotator can be turned into a canister vacuum where the Navigator can only be an upright vacuum. Question:	Ii read a review stating that the battery did not fit 2945z, wires on wrong side. iis anyone using this battery with purple sweeper
Answer:	It fit fine and charged right up in my purple Shark sweeper. Overall life span is not very long, though. I think we got a year out of the replacement, and at that point, it was more cost effective to buy a new sweeper since it was pretty beat up (we have 4 large dogs so it gets used hard!).

Answer:	I am still using the replacement battery so I am not sure how long it will last but I have replaced mine in the past and it lasted as long as the original one did.
Question:	Does overcharging damage the unit
Answer:	Overgarging is restricted for these batteries and the vac keep it from overcharging.

Answer:	It is 42" on the stick or pole and 45" to the top of the handle from the top of the sweeper. Plus 2" more from the floor. I really like mine.

Answer:	I would guess so. During my Holiday baking, my little 'helper' accidentally knocked over the sugar canister. My new Shark did wonderful picking up ALL the sugar, and we went back to Santa's cookies :)

Answer:	it is a very good vacuum for a quick clean up. it is light weight and very handy. it does an adequate job on the edges and corners but like most vacuums, you would need an attachment. i recommend this product. i have had one for five years and i"m amazed at the amount of dirt and dust it picks up

Answer:	I use mine mostly on indoor outdoor carpet, and I love it!! To use it on tile floors I put it on bare floor mode and it works really well there to. I really like this shark I had one before this for 3 years and when people would see me using it they went and bought them one to. Quick and easy to use and store.
