Answer:	Hi KJ Sparkles, The 300CU steam mop works best on hard surfaces. You may skim the microfiber pad over the surfaces of carpets (it has a carpet glide) but please note that it is meant for light surface cleaning only as it does not have a vacuum.

Question:	Can you add a cleaner to the water
Answer:	I would not, as you don't know how it will effect the heating element or filter of the steamer mop and as it will also void any warranty on the piece of equipment. Adding anything to the water may also gum up the works, leaving clogged tubes which will render your machine inoperable. I use a spray on clearner separately to pretreat the area I am to clean, then run the steam mop immediately over that area (usually 4 foot by 4 foot). I also use a good number of the micropads, as I replace them often while cleaning then run a clean one over everything at the end.

Answer:	Hi Jennifer G,I'm don't know what you mean by "regular household pressurize steamer with a concentrated nozzle", so it's difficult to make a comparison. If you are talking about one of our household steam cleaners, they do have nozzles for cleaning small areas, but the size of the hole on the nozzle is bigger than the one on this unit. This is made for jewelry cleaning and the steam is activated with a foot pedal. Answer:	I use Simple Green or Fast Orange combined with warm (not hot) water in a 50/50 ration. This works best (for me) over any other cleaning solution combo for jewelry. I then rinse in clean water and use a can of compressed air (the kind you use for computer keyboards) to blow dry diamonds and give it that extra sparkle.

Answer:	Preset cleaning cycles is a fancy term for how many seconds the machine is set to run - 90, 180, 280, 380 and 480 seconds.

Answer:	The short answer is that regardless of the mis-worded/backwards instructions in the manual, you should never ever submerge any watch in an ultrasonic cleaner, period. The entire purpose of the ultrasonic cleaner is to aggressively drive water into the tiniest of crevices to clean out debris. The sealing gaskets for watches are not designed with ultrasonic cleaners in mind. Even diving watches are not tested against such aggressive environments. The ratings on non-diving watches are for brief submersions in static environments when brand new. With age the o-rings degrade. The seal around the stem isn't very tight to start with, and after a battery change the seal for the back is rarely very robust. Answer:	A couple reviews were misleading. Here's the guidance straight from the manual on this question and it was bolded: "ATTENTION: - Glasses / Sunglasses with pre-existing scratches or cracks in the coating are not suitable for ultrasonic cleaning. Ultrasonic cleaning is only suitable for cleaning frames. - Antique jewelry, jewelry containing loose stones, and jewelry containing soft / porous stones like pearls, emeralds, amber and opal should not be cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner. If you are unsure about whether you should use the ultrasonic cleaner on your specific type of jewelry, please consult your local jeweler." I ruined a pair of glasses. If you have even the slightest, think almost invisible, crack in the coating or a break in it where the lenses meet the frames (very hard to detect), the ultrasonic cleaner will vigorously attack these defects and start to strip away the entire coating, thereby trashing your glasses. If your lenses are COATED with anything, follow the manufacturer's advice and do not use an ultrasonic cleaner.

Answer:	The soft fluffy cleaner works MUCH BETTER on my hardwood and linoleum floors than the one with the brushes. I have both and change between them everyday. The one with the brushes is great for dog hair on carpet or crackers smashed in carpet (kids). If the finish of your floor can be damaged by boiling water, then it can be damaged by steam). The 200CU may be used on hardwood floors that are entirely sealed (no gaps in the wood), and it has been determined the sealant itself is not affected by steam.

Answer:	Hi TLF, We recommend using distilled water to keep as little calcium/heavy metal buildup from occurring inside the unit, but tap water may also be used. The unit will just require more maintenance/ cleaning when using anything other than distilled water. Regards,

Answer:	Hello Andrea,There are no baskets that come with the i600A. With regards to any special cleaners for calcium builidup inside the tank, we do sell packets of demineralizer separately, but it does not come with the boiler. (Not sure if you mean special cleaners for the boiler, or when you are using the steam cleaner? )

Answer:	It can use any standard microfiber or cotton cloth, like the ones on a Brava. You can use any washable, breathable fabric (an old face towel will do) and reuse to your heart's content. I came to hate my Brava but love this steamer so I use the ones that came with the Brava. At least it had nice cleaner pads going for it.
