Answer:	Hey there! Nest Temperature Sensor will not work with 2nd Generation Nest Learning Thermostats. It is currently compatible with Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Generation, and Nest Thermostat E.

Answer:	You can only use six per nest thermostat. The Best Buy is s three pac. I have twelve in a two thermostat 7200 sq ft house. They’re in every major room. I’d place them in every room to clarify a 1 degree temperature change throughout.

Answer:	You live ina tri level house you should have more that one HVAC system in the home. I tried level should ant the very least have two if not three full sytems. I you only have one statehouse should call a reputable havc company to take a look at you system as a whole and see what they say. I use nest on multi floor and sensors. The sensor in is always located on the the same level that the normal nest thermostat is located. Same goes for the other thermostats ands censors . Sensors should be an the same level as the main thermostat they are tied to

Answer:	This is how it works: you decide, either through the app or on the thermostat, which sensor should be in control. You can set it up to automatically switch control between the thermostat and the sensor at certain times of day. Here’s how I use it: our thermostat is on the main level, the sensor is in our bedroom. If we heat the main level to 70 degrees, the upstairs bedroom will be about 75. I have the app set to start using the bedroom sensor at 9:00pm so the bedroom won’t be so hot when we go to bed. Question:	Does this require a c wire? why does it need aaa batteries
Answer:	In most cases, Nest thermostats can get enough power from your system’s heating and cooling wires. But in a small number of situations you may need to connect a common or C wire to deliver enough consistent power to your thermostat when your heating and cooling wires are not able to deliver the needed power for your Nest thermostat. Battery drain issues normally happen when the power from your heating and cooling system goes out. The 2 AAA alkaline batteries are used as a backup, or to supplement if your system can’t deliver enough power.

Answer:	Yes. You have a 4 wire system and it will work. One key point though. Although it will work without a C wire because it has batteries. This tends to cause problems later at some point. Ideally, you want C wire powering it. Now a lot of people don't have a C wire. So its a dilemma unless you are willing to use the G wire as a C wire. This is a well known workaround. See Youtube.

Answer:	I haven't notice any scratches. It has strong bristles but not that strong to scratch.

Answer:	Yes, soap and water works well but for swrious cleaning I boil water in a pot deep enough to submerge the bristles and when I take the pot of water off the stove I soak the brush for several minutes. Depending on what you use the brush for, I'm sure bleach water works well too. It's a very durable brush.

Answer:	Personally, I wouldn't use it on microfiber, as it may damage the fabric.
