Answer:	Thou I haven’t tried it myself I would say def would be able to use on a mattress. I used it to disinfect my sofas. Just make sure you are constantly moving and do not keep in one spot for too long to avoid any wet spots and getting your mattress or sofa too wet. Use the attachment and should do the trick.

Answer:	This one is yellow and black and not blue and white to indicate it is for more serious use! But, as far as I can tell there are two real differences: this comes with two of the heavy duty pads instead of one heavy duty and one regular, and it comes with more tools. In reality, many people will never use the extra tools, and you can buy more pads pretty easily (I bought a pack of 3 heavy duty ones, so I always have a clean one). So in the end, do you want one that matches your kitchen decor or one that fits better in your garage?

Answer:	Hello and thank you for your question. The top and bottom of our mat are identical. The mat is made of pressed wool felt. It is uniform throughout. It is a non-woven homogenous mat of proprietary composition wool fibers. Use on a water-resistant surface is recommended. The scales of the wool fiber with their waxy coating (Lanolin) stops water penetrating the fibers themselves but allows absorption of water vapor into the mat. This makes wool water-replant while at the same time allows water vapor absorption. Water vapor exists in the air as moisture and these mats will/can absorb some depending on the amount present in the air. We therefore recommend using these mats on a water-resistant surface or using a water-proof barrier between the mat and the surface you want to protect. Steam from an iron will also go through the mat as most irons these days use pressurized steam and the mat is a porous product.

Answer:	It didn’t do well cleaning my bathtub and sink. I had better luck and spent less time and energy using a mixture of baking soda and bleach for the mold around the tub. Used vinegar to clean the sink. I wouldn’t recommend this product for bathroom.

Answer:	Same here. Gargles loud but steam is weak. It turns off every 60s or so for around 10s, and turns back on. Take a lot longer than my previous Conair unit from Costco. Very disappointed. Returning this.

Answer:	I think the problem would be calcification not mold. It calls for distilled water. I would be sure it is empty of water when you are done. It is light and easy to work with, in my opinion.

Answer:	The steam gets extremely hot and could burn you quickly. You need to be very careful.
Question:	Is the height of the pole adjustable? If yes, what is the maximum height
Answer:	The height is adjustable. The maximum height of the spot where the hanger would hook is 5' 1" from the floor (this includes the base). Take into account that a normal hanger will reduce the height where the garment would hang by several inches. I use a separate hanging apparatus on the back of a door to hold clothes at a more comfortable height to work with. I wouldn't let the height deter you though it is a great buy.
Question:	Is there a water additive to make the clothes smell fragrent
Answer:	Use 1 teaspoon of fragrant liquid fabric softener in a gallon of distilled water. Make sure it's fully dissolved before using it.
Question:	does it tip over easy
Answer:	The product is sturdy; however, it is top heavy when both the steamer handle and clothing are hung with the steamer pole extended to the highest position. If you lower the pole setting and avoid the temptation of using it as a hanger, you won't find any issues with it tipping over. Keep in mind though that if it does tip over, the reservoir will fall out and leak some water on the floor.

Answer:	No, this is an steam cleaner not a power washer. You can clean nearly every surface inside your house, though. Tile, grout, tubs, toilets etc.

Answer:	It should work very well. I use it on some sealed natural tiles in my house. It works with minimal water, but lots of steam pressure. Since the floors are really dirty, for the first-time cleaning you might want to use an appropriate tile cleaner in addition to the steam pressure.

Question:	Anyone ever try to clean grease and old oil off of automotive parts? Does it work
Answer:	That is specifically why I bought this. While it was extremel efficient with 'new' debris on the engine, the old caked on grime needed encouragement. Scrub brush before and after stream, and finish with dry rag was great.I cleaned off thick stuck on grease left over by old tenants in my apartment and it worked better than any chemical cleaner I've ever used. If it can work on that stuff it will definitely work on automotive grease/oil.

Answer:	Yes, the steam cleaner is powerful enough to do bathtub and the sink. I had good luck using the steam cleaner to get the really nastiest stuck on stuff that the long handled scrubrush wouldn't get out in the tub.

Answer:	Hi L. Terry, You can use any distilled water you want that you can buy at a local grocery store or pharmacy. Each of the bottles we sell in the 12 pack lasts between 10-12 sessions (120-144 total) so if you use it 2x per day, a case will at the very least last you two months.
