Answer:	The lid snaps on. There’s no seal. It takes up no space inside the bucket once attached. Aside from being overpriced this lid works well.

Answer:	The chemical guys bucket is a 4 1/4 gallon bucket and the bucket when filled with water weighs about 36 pounds which the bucket will hold easily. If your sitting on the bucket with the chemical guys lid fitted correctly the bucket should hold 220 pounds with no issues. That being said the more scratched and worn the bucket gets the weaker it becomes. If you buy the dolly for it, it should prevent wear and tear.
