Answer:	You pull from the front it latches there to replace the bag. Directly south/ 6 o clock from the locking mechanism. You pull that lip and it pops right open.

Answer:	TL;DR: Yes, it's great for this purpose. Love it. Except NOT DOG PROOF. I bought this trash can exactly for this reason. It is perfect for this use. I keep it outside in the backyard, but somewhat sheltered from the sun and rain. It is able to fit plastic grocery bags, which are perfect to collect the poop and then toss the whole thing in the larger garbage can when it's full. The foot pedal makes the poop-picking-up process easy, like when you have a large shovel-full (gross) and you don't have an extra hand to open the lid. The can feels sturdy, like it will last. Sure, it isn't like the heavy duty trash cans that are provided by the trash service, but good enough for general home use. The lid definitely keeps the smell INSIDE THE CAN, which is soooo important. Man, when that lid is opened, it is like death... ugh. Luckily the lid drops quickly once you release the foot pedal. The lid is not heavy at all, but it is heavy enough to close quickly and completely without needing to touch it or close it harder. Some other trash cans I've dealt with in the past have really flimsy-closing lids, and you have to press them again to close them all the way, and those other ones definitely don't keep smells inside; that is NOT the case with this trash can. One thing worth mentioning; This can is NOT DOG PROOF. If you know that your dog is one that likes to mess with things, this can would NOT keep them out. The lid IS ABLE TO OPEN WITHOUT PRESSING THE FOOT PEDAL. A dog could likely get his nose on the lid and open it. Or could tip it over and the contents (gross) would spill all over. My dog doesn't mess with things (so glad), so this is not a factor for me. I will definitely be buying more of this trash can in the future. If I ever have to replace my backyard one, and more for the bathrooms around my house.

Answer:	Yeah...I also have kids so slipping is a general problem as is. The fit is pretty snug so you have to like, precisely put the bag on and not overfill it like you probably would with other cans.

Answer:	It's a little tricky to do but I've begun cutting a slit on one side of the plastic garbage bag and tying the two pieces into a knot around the upper edge of the trash can liner to gather any excess bag that would show. It really depends on the size of the trash bag and how important it is to you that no plastic shows. You might have to buy several different brands of bags to find one that works for you.
