Answer:	I'm sure you could, but I'm not sure how well the paint would stick vs. scratching off easily. You would have to prime it and possibly sand it first for your paint coat to be durable, because it has a slightly slick/slightly glossy finish now.

Answer:	I would guess that it would hold from eight to ten bath towels. This is a very nice hamper, the bag pulls out so you don't have to lug the everything to the washer.

Answer:	It is not velcroed. There are two skinny metal rods that slip through each side of the bag and then sits in a slot. You can easily just pick up the whole thing and carry it to the wash. The rods can stay in or be taken out. It might be a pain to take out the rods and have to put them back in each time, but it is possible.

Answer:	What a good question. I haven't considered it, because I'm not that size. I've put heavier things on it. No, I don't think I'd let my 115 lbs child sit on it, though. I really am pleased with this. It looks very nice, as in the photo. I was actually expecting something more cheaply made. I'd give it five stars. Megan is correct, it is rather high. I might plop a toddler here, temporarily, to help with shoes or similar. I think a person tall enough to sit here might be too heavy. (??)

Answer:	No, it does not come with a liner of any kind. I just don't put wet clothes in it but, even if I did, it would probably be fine.

Answer:	There is no cover, just a liner. Great hamper! Very attractive!
Question:	how tall is it
Answer:	The hamper is 24 1/2 inches high. The liner is a few inches longer, so that it folds over the top. I washed the liner and ran it through the dryer and it shrank. I highly recommend not doing that - use cold water and line dry when you wash it. But putting a couple of fat cookbooks I wasn't using under the hamper made it possible to still fold the liner over the top - no problem.
Question:	ugh having issues putting it together- anyone else? looks easy but the black frame much bigger and basket not fitting without tearing the bamboo
Answer:	When you first put the frame pieces together they don't go all the way in. So, put the frame pieces on carpet rather than a hard floor and then give each connection place an extra little thump on the floor so one piece will go all the way into the mating piece. You could also make each frame end fit all the way into the mating piece by giving it a gentle tap with a hammer. When you get all of the frame pieces tapped in as far as they are supposed to go, the cover will fit just fine.
Question:	what is the bottom made of
Answer:	The woven bamboo outer material fits snugly on the metal framework. Then you insert the canvas bag inside the outer frame. This is a very heavy duty bag that has a bottom in it so your clothing does not touch the floor at all. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It doesn't weigh very much, maybe 10-12 pounds. You could pick it up and move it if you want. But, what I did was put four screw-in hooks on the inside near each corner. Then, I hang a laundry bag from the hooks. That makes it easy to just pull the laundry out while it is in the bag. Make sure you get a laundry bag with a cord around the opening.

Answer:	We do not place a laundry bag in it. We us a large plastic waste basket which just lifts out when I am ready to remove the items in it. There are no hooks or hangers in the hamper to hang a laundry bag.

I haven't found that it folds in on itself , I have to fold it myself..love it, looks nice..holds a lot of laundry , I was pleasantly surprised. The Velcro stays together even with a heavy load . It is sturdy.

Answer:	It can but would be difficult to close if there is a lot of laundry in it. The best thing would be to make a replacement bag and reuse the rods to hang them. That worked great for me.

Answer:	No the hamper isn’t ventilated. I was shocked too but a very nice hamper. My only concern is the lid hinges that come with the hamper, they are small and only attached with short screws. The lid is a will made heavy piece of wood.
