Answer:	It is not sturdy enough to sit on or to use as a stool. It is sturdy for a corner laundry basket. I love it.

Answer:	Yes, it can be used this way or to wire a trunk and individual branches. One tip I learned is to press the wire against the branch you want to wire and if the wire bends go up a gauge until it bends the branch. I made early errors this way.
