Answer:	We use this to transport clean items to our cottage and return home with soiled garments. If you're speaking of normal day to day soil or dirt then there are no concerns of transfer or contamination to clean items.If you're speaking of heavily soiled items, especially anything greasy or oily, I would imagine that it's possible that this could rub against clean clothes and mark them. If that's what you're speaking of, those types of articles should be transported in a plastic bag.For normal clothes and items, this works well, especially because the design allows for air flow to deter mildew if dealt with timely.

Answer:	No. A circle with a diameter of 17" has a circumference of almost 54" around. This bag was 34"long x 23" wide when I received it, but it was only 28" long x 21" wide after I washed and dried it. You'd need one at least 27" wide or more to fit. This is also sewn as a flat rectangular bag. It does not have a round or gusseted bottom.
