Answer:	To be honest, no. This item can only hold a limited amount of weight and an aluminum coffee cup might be too heavy. I don't recommend buying these. Try Command Wire Hooks Value Pack, Medium, White, 7-Hooks (17068-7ES). The hooks themselves are small as well.

Answer:	I have no idea. All Command hooks are rated for weight-per-hook, on the package. You'll have to do the multiplication to find out, relating the wall weight to the hook capacity. If you're putting up an entire wall of some kind, no matter how thin, it would be wiser to use heavy-duty hooks (check the hardware section) that screw at least 1 1/2 inches directly into wood, and screw them into a series of wall joists. Or screw the design wall frame directly into the wall joists at least every 2 feet vertically, and into every wall joist horizontally. Holes are easy to fill in when you take it down, and the thing won't fall down down wreck your living room and/or you.

Answer:	We havent tested in with winter boots yet but we put two pairs of adult boots on and off of it daily. The shelves are soft with a shiny layer for cleaning. We keep our boots on the bottom shelf so Im not sure how much weight they would be able to hold.

If attached in to drywall support strength will be limited by the strength of the plastic anchors used.

Answer:	There is no recommendation included with the hooks. The type of screw would depend on the kind of stud (wood or metal) but as a general rule if you are anchoring into a stud, unless you are planning to hang something incredibly heavy, these hooks can be hung just with screws directly into studs. I used sheet rock screws 2 inch and hung up to 50 pound items very securely with no problem.

Answer:	Yes. I got some blackout curtains (2 panels 54x84 that weigh 4lbs total) and a small Cafe curtain Rod (7/16) and my curtains are able to open & close and they stay up. I originally got a curtain rod the was 7/8 Thick and it was too big to sit in the hook. Any curtain rod that is thinner than that will fit better. The finials on my cafe rod are small too. I did follow the command instructions ( press for 10 seconds, remove the hook, press for 30 seconds, put the hook back, let stand for 1 hour, then I put my curtains & rod on). Works like a charm.
