When my daughter who is probably about 34 inches sits in it, she probably only has a foot of space above her head (and less space for getting in and out as the roof arches up for more headspace once inside). You might want to look for another toy, or you can get this and enjoy it for a little while. I'm sure you could sell it easily when you're done with it (or save it for another kiddo).
