Answer: Can't really help. I just received the material and haven't used it yet. I don't expect it to stretch. I imagine the weight that it's supporting could be a variable.

Answer: This braided wire is rated for 30 lbs. I would still recommend it for your lighter jobs. It's a 25 ft roll so keep the extra because the next job you have for it might be heavier. Besides it will probably cost you more for a lighter wire someplace else. This is a really good deal.

Answer: Just bought this myself about a week ago. I expect it is best done using a crimping plier. If you have a wire stripping plier, it has a crimping feature on it for splices and terminal ends. It may be perfect for these sleeves, too.
