Answer:	I was able to fit nine (9) pairs of men's size 12 on my rack. The shoes are longer than the rack is deep, but it works. I also had to fit the pairs according to what would fit (to get 3 pairs on each rack) - instead of the type of shoe - such as dress shoes, casual, sports shoes - etc. But again, it works.

Answer:	I think it will help to a degree, but keep in mind it is somewhat thin. You might consider a cushion with a central cutout to relieve tailbone pressure. I use the Tsumbay Cushion on a chair that already has as memory foam seat in order to supplement the cushioning effect. I think used on a hard surfaced chair the Tsumbay Cushion will not provide very much comfort in your situation. That's just my $0.02 without truly knowing your situation though.
