Answer:	There are no rubber pads on the bottom, but the plastic is smooth on the bottom (not rough). I don't ever drag it across the wood floors. I fold the arms and legs and carry it to the laundry room for storage after each use, so I haven't seen any damage to the floors.

Answer:	I think it is definitely not something you would want to travel with. Each of the two pieces are 2.5 feet long. The 3 legs on the tripod fold, but they take up about 6 inches. The arms on the top piece take up about 4 inches when folded.

Answer:	Yes and no. These crates can be stacked, but the lid to box adhesion is nowhere near strong enough for a person to use as a step stool. In fact, I can probably knock down the lid with just my fist. So if you are looking for step-stool boxes, this is not it. However, the box is very convenient if you are just moving things around and would like to conserve space. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Its not sturdy if you need to hang a lot of stuff on it. Once you put it together its not easy to store unless you have a huge closet. The box it came in isn't very big and can stand in the corner, of course you'll be assembling and disassembling when you need it. I purchased 3 different garment racks, and I liked this one the best - it was the most stable, though these types of racks are all a bit flimsy. Served my purpose while we were doing home renovations and needed to empty out the closets for a couple months.
