| Answer: | I'm afraid I can't answer that question. My husband attached his to the wood rod in his closet. Our shelves are all solid in our closets. Sorry :) |

| Answer: | I don't know. My closet rod is "round". It was too big in diameter for mountingyour tie rack with the "spacer" attached. In taking the spacer out, the rack wastoo loose when fully tightened. I had to improvise by making a shim that wouldallow the tie rack to be firmly secured once the set screw was tightened. Youradjustable extension at the back wasn't long enough to reach the back wall and still be sturdy. I had to install a spacer square block of wood by attaching it to the back wall of the closet. This made the extension coming out of the tie rackmore sturdy by not being extended so far out. |
| Question: | Why is this one so much more expensive than similar ones? Is it worth the price difference |
| Answer: | I'm not sure what price its being sold for these days. I purchased mine for $100 back in 2012. At that price, it was definitely worth it. It is a really good motorized tie rack. I haven't had any problems with it. Smooth rotation of the ties. Battery pack that can be removed easily so that you can replace the batteries - very important because my old one didn't have this and it was a pain changing the batteries. |

| Answer: | Do not buy this product. It is garbage! I ordered 1 and within 6 days it fell apart. I contacted the seller and they sent me another one, not as a replacement as I had to pay for it. The second one did NOT even turn on so I shipped it back and then had to pay a restocking fee. |

| Answer: | I don't think it will fit nicely. The unit is specifically designed for a round rod. You unscrew it and the two pieces clamp around the rod. With a wire rack system you may not be able to get the two pieces close enough to re-screw the unit together. |
