Answer:	Yes it will. I was wondering the same thing so I bought it to find out and after assembling it this weekend I tried it out this morning. Makes a big difference for use cleaning gutters or getting to roof but is not wide enough to span windows. Since the MT-22 has a wider span at the top, the width issue of the spacing horizontally is less an issue and the vertical spacing is standard. The fit is not exactly snug on the rungs but in use the stabilizer holds firm and you have two safety bolts to keep it on the step just in case.

Answer:	Airtightness is a tough criteria to meet. There is no obvious provisions on these boxes to achieve this. The lids are certainly well-fitting and snug and would be water tight against rain, for example. But air tightness is unlikely. Is this really necessary to keep palmetto bugs out? (We Californians have roaches of all sizes but nothing we call "palmetto bugs". These boxes will no doubt protect against our roaches.)

Question:	Does this fit comic books
Answer:	Per the item site, the inside dimensions of the file box is 10-3/8" x 11-3/4" x 14-1/2". I would think comic books would fit; however, I use hanging files and file folders in this box to store documents. I assume you want wanting to store your comic books for collector purposes. Personally, I don't think this would be a box suitable for comic book storage because it works better as vertical storage as opposed to horizontal storage (you could store the box on it's side - or - use the file vertically if you have a large quantity of comic books so that their mass supports them upright - but, my fear would be, they still might get creased - unless you're using protective covers along with a type of cardboard for stability). Me? I'd contact a comic book store and get their recommendations/ideas for storage. Then consider this box as a possible solution for your storage needs.

The internal dimensions of my box are 9.5" deep x 12" wide x 15 1/8" long. Mine is used to store binders of documents and it works perfectly--enough room to fit, but not so much room that everything is sliding around--Hope that helps
