There is many cut sections on the light stripe (every 3 feet). After cutting, make sure to close off the ends of the rope with an endcap and seal it with sealant or similar to completely close off the strip end to prevent any elements from getting in.

| Answer: | The 50 ft light strip itself plugs into the power cord (that is included) and the power cord plugs into the outlet. The light strip itself is about 1 inch wide and it does have adhesive on the back after you pull off the protective covering. I did not remove the plastic covering in my application. |

| Answer: | This item is 120 volt with the 2-pronged plug. The power cord has a safety fuse that will protect the lights. As for the wattage, this will range on the temperature color and brightness level you are using. For the 25ft length, the wattage will range from 1 watt (lowest brightness) to 20 watts (highest brightness). The rope doesn't necessarily have cut marks, but every few meters, there are gaps where the LEDS begin and end. There is a 1" inch gap that will technically be used for cutting. We don't recommend extending the rope or attaching other parts to this lighting. If you do cut it, we only recommend to shorten desired lengths by the 1" inch gaps in the rope. You should seek a professional and take all measures to cap and seal the ends of the cut ends, so they are not prone to moisture or water damage. It will obsolete the waterproof capabilities if cut. |

Customization

| Answer: | Once it is lit up, the transparent plastic casing on the lights turn white. The blue lights are as pictured. The lights slowly go out - as in dead - from the electrical plug end. Many have complained about this and I wonder why Amazon still works with this company - they make Amazon look bad. Don't buy them. |

| Answer: | Yes but only in the designated spot. There is an X where you should be able to cut and put an adapter to add another strand. |

| Answer: | Not dimmable but the ambiance is really nice. The diameter isn't thin but is thicker and great quality. It plugs into a standard outlet. I say that this is a great buy for the cost and am satisfied with the product. |
