On rare occasions I have seen thinner rope light but this is the usual size, if that helps. I would suggest that if you get it, unpack it and lay flat for a few days before any installation as it acquires a marked "curl" from being coiled and that makes the install more difficult. |

Using a dimmer will reduce voltage into the light power supply lowering the light brightness but at a point the light will just turn off because of insufficient working voltage to the LEDs in the light chain. This means the light will dim as your turn your dimmer down then the light will abruptly turn off. Take care, John |

| Answer: | If you are sure that this product is adaptable for 3 strands, once again check the connections, if they are tight and secure, either your breaker is weak/insufficient, or you have a short in one of the strands. I would try all combinations of 2 strands to find the bad one, if in fact one is bad. Basically, you need to figure out where the problem lies, with the product, the connection, or the breaker/house wiring. Hope this helps. |
