Answer:	They have to be plugged in to their own outlet. Also know that the plug is in the middle of the lights and not on an end, so you have to plug them in and then run them two different directions from the plug to cover what you want to light up. Answer:	The "Gold" edition is only shades of white (from cold blue to warm yellow) The "Special Edition" covers all of those and all of RGB combinations. In the app when creating a new light effect with the special edition lights, there is one slider for the Gold level, one slider for the color RGB, and one slider for the light level. So you can easily create the same lights as the Gold with the special edition.

Answer:	The wires are black and disappear into the tree, the lights can be any color you imagine, literally millions of options.

Question:	If I lay these out in a flat panel will I be able to animate, say a snowman moving from one side to the other
Answer:	Not really, you are pretty limited to their designs. It can be done in a flat panel but may not be very big.
Question:	Are these lights multi and warm white or just multi
Answer:	These are RGB lights that can be configured to any color via the app, from blue to cool white to warm white to orange. One diode per bulb, so there is not a parallel warm white diode paired with a RGB diode in the same physical bulb. The default “white” setting in the app is cool white, but this can be easily adjusted to warm white, so you can choose either. Warm white doesn’t look weird or out of place. This is ideal, because you can choose either.
Question:	How do you get these to just be a solid warm white or even a normal “rainbow” like reg light strings? Love the features but need to chill the neon Lol
Answer:	There is a feature to where you can customize the color, so you could get these close to a warm white. As for a normal rainbow light reg lights, if you alternating colors along the string (blue, red, green, blue, red, green, etc) it can be done but would take time to customize. The easy way would be to randomly assign the colors. Hope this helps.
Question:	How long is the strand and can you add additional strands
Answer:	These are not “end to end” strands. The 250 size comes with two physical strands that both start from the plug side of the device. There is a long length of wire from the plug to the first light, so it is easy to start the strand in the middle or top of the tree by routing the strand up the trunk. Multiple 250 sets can be paired and controlled as a single group inside the app, and the layout detection in the app ignores strands and performs true detection, so the lights at the top of the tree are at the top in the app, even if the lights are all on different strands. Really a very cool implementation.

Answer:	105ft (32m) is the Length of the part of the String that has Lights.
Question:	What should be the ideal height of the Christmas tree for 250 leds & 400 leds accordingly in order to have the best lightning effects
Answer:	My tree is ~7' and it is pretty dense with 400 lights and that is replacing 1000 (ten strings of 100) mini lights we had on there previously. Unlike standard strings of lights, you won't be weaving these in and out along branches, these will need to just be strung on towards the outside in 'straight' circular pattern for the best effects mapping so you end up using a lot fewer of these than you would non-fancy lights.

Question:	If I cut this in the corner how I will connect the strip
Answer:	The hue hub directly controls the bulbs (one hue hub can control 50? bulbs). Alexa can install a “skill” (an app/program) that communicates with the hue hub. The end result: You say “alexa turn on bedroom light", Alexa passes the request to the hue hub, hub turns the light on, Alexa gets a reply that the request was fulfilled and lights are on. You can control the hue hub directly with an app, or you can use an apple or google smart device to do the same thing that alexa does.
Question:	is there a mode to cycle through all the colors constantly
Answer:	I have an Echo dot gen 3 and purchased these bulbs last month. Got them connected easily and they worked for 3 weeks and now Alexa cannot discover them. I tried to leave a review on my purchase, but the message says they’ve noticed unusual reviews on this product so they won’t let me leave one. Guess everyone is having the same issue.
Question:	I lost the instructions how do I sync them to my phone
Answer:	Just got these for Prime Day deal. You need a hub to take full advantage of voice control (Alexa/Google). Otherwise, you need to set them up via Bluetooth for Alexa which means the Echo device needs to be within 30 feet of the lights. Even my Echo Dot 4 feet away from the lights, the operation of the bulbs is hit and miss. Worked bout 85% of the time. The rest of the time the Echo said it couldn't communicate with the lights. You can also use the Philips Hue (Bluetooth) app. For the price, I really was not impressed with the functionality of them. Also purchased some LOHAS Smart LED bulbs (got 3 bulbs for the price of these 2) and those work great. The LOHAS are both Bluetooth and Wifi, with no hub needed at all. Cant really recommend the Philips as I don't want to purchase a hub. Will most likely return these as the LOHAS bulbs work way better.
Question:	How do you sync two 32ft light Strips
Answer:	I have one that came with my Echo Show 10, it paired with the Echo Show and the other Echos can control it no issue. But you have to have an Echo with Zigbee function - that means the older Echo Plus, or the new 4th gen Echo or an Echo Show 10. If not, you'll need to use Hue's hub and use the Hue skill to link to your Alexa network. Of the choices, I recommend the show, because it gives you visuals when installing. however most my smart devices are wifi using the Smart Life app and intergrate using that skill.
