Professional installers have showed us these clips and aren’t as thrilled about them as you’d think! What we saw, indicates the plastic is not very good quality; so while the magnet may stay attached, the cheap plastic breaks and the light strands come down. It may also depend if they have UV protection or not and where they are installed. Direct sunlight it brutal on any plastic material, but good UV protection helps extend product life.

Answer:	Switch should always be on. (Timer turns it off.) Set to Auto. It's easiest (for me) to set it all up when you want the light off (but keep the switch on), then, later, the timer will turn the lamp on and you should be fine from then on.
Question:	Will the sensor work through walls or is it like a TV remote, where the sensor has to be within a clear line of 'vision' of the remote to work? Thanks
