We are Jerry and Alix, a busy husband and wife who wanted to spend more time together. Jerry is a Chemical Engineer and research enthusiast who is now a ceramic expert. Answer:	7 3/8" tall x 3 3/8" top dia. x 3" dia. base I love mine. The lid recesses into the top so your lips touch ceramic rather than plastic. The lid has a firm friction fit and the closure is easily removable for cleaning. I am using it as I write. It is pretty stable not having much of a taper but I have knocked other similar ones over chipping or breaking the rim. I will buy another one just in case. The hand grip is ample and secure. I drink coffee with a lot of milk so I microwave mine daily and have no problems with it. Like I said " I love it." Going for a refill now.

Answer:	yes... but my new design ones I bought water stays between the cup and liner and NEVER dries, VERY different than the older models, I never had issues with my other ones, not liking it and then it leaks water all day out of it but NEVER seems to dry completely - even after weeks!
Question:	Is it microwave safe
Answer:	It depends on how you define 'microwave safe'. It doesn't spark or explode, so in that sense it is microwave safe. However if you bring water to a boil in it, such to to make tea, the cup becomes far to hot to touch. Even the silicon sleeve is too hot to touch. Using a laser thermometer I measured the ceramic at 197 degrees F and the sleeve at 157 degrees after boiling water. That has the potential to be dangerous to the unwary user. So I would say the cup is 'sort of' microwave-safe. I have several cups that don't get hot, and I wish this was one of them. Having said that, I really like the cup, I'm just careful with it.

Answer:	I don’t know that it is or not but someone asked the same question on the reviews page for this and someone answered Yes that it is BPA free. Sorry that is all I can tell you. Love the cup though! I don’t use the lid.

Answer:	It is best you properly ask Cedar Home, the company that offers them . or ask an Amazon assistant Before you purchase ... However i gave two of these exact mugs as Christmas gifts... Interestingly the recipients of each mug loved the design and commented their coffee tasted great in them one however does not use the lid the other used it on the mug traveling to and at their office......... I would think that if there was a problem it would change the coffee taste specifically... So you could toss the lid and simply use the coffee mug.. It is a beautifully designed mug and although i cannot be more specific if there is BPA in the lid involved, however you are correct to inquire as it is important to know. So please consider to follow my suggestions.

Answer:	When holding the cup and drinking out of the cup. There is no problem. If it was dropped the lid would probably come off

Answer:	I would not be comfortable microwaving this cup. It does have a wood base and am not sure how the base is attached to the ceramic portion of the mug.

Answer:	No better than any other mug with cover off. Also after a month the slide on the cove loosens so much that when you tip the mug to drink it closes up on you! I have a Bubba that has a great lid that actually locks and stays open when you want it to.

Question:	is this Microwave safe? Dishwasher Safe
Answer:	I have repeatedly put my ceramic mug in the dishwasher, top rack without any damage or fading. I also put the lid in top rack. I have not tried it in the microwave as I use an induction tea pot to heat water.

Answer:	The Fringe Studio Camping Ceramic Travel Mug looks like olive green online but as one other reviewer mentioned, it is a darker gray with white camping/outdoor symbols on it. It basically looks exactly like the photo online only dark gray not green. It is very heavy too, heavier than my Starbuck's ceramic travel mugs.
