Answer:	Should fit in the left side empty space. I have many accessories placed in this case with the GoPro Hero 4. You can adjust the spacing with the foam pieces that come out. Just to be on the safe side I would go with the larger one.

Answer:	I will try to post a pic soon. but yes, i have the 3 way tri pod in mine (Large version). i did have to take out one of the arm screws since it sticks out a bit. the pole fits in long ways against the side. no need to have it run diagonally in the open area, which is nice. in the main cutout area, i also have a floaty on an extended back door (tallest item in the case). multiple joints, head strap, and extra extended back door without floaty. plus a bunch of cables, flat back door, 3m mounts, and other "flat" items in the in the bag. i dont have the wrist strap, but if i took out the extras i have, it would definitely fit with the tripod pole and headstrap.

You can actually compare these to one another on the Makita site which will reveal that they both have the flagship 18v drill from Makita 18V LXT® Brushless 1/2" Hammer Driver-Drill (XPH07Z). The key difference between the XT267T and the XT268T is the impact driver! With the 7T you will get the 18V LXT® Brushless Impact Driver (XDT13Z). This is a great impact driver! However, it does not provide the ability to change speeds for jobs/fasteners they need that option. The 8T actually provides you that option as it comes with the 18V LXT® Brushless 3-Speed Impact Driver (XDT14Z). So, I would strongly suggest the Makita XT268T with the 3 speed impact. Everything else with this combo kit is identical and I have no idea why they are virtually the same price. I hope this helps you. PS. I am a pier builder in Florida who has used Makita for many years as my go-to drill driver. These tools are so well made and hold up exceptionally well over time. My old reliable Makita 18v from 2009 is still working with abuse like you wouldn't believe. I have read tons of reviews and this 18v Hammer Drill is literally one of top tools on every review. When I got mine out of the box and drove the first few screws it was like butter!
