Answer:	There's a little silver colored button that is tucked away under the locking lever that allows you to release small amounts of air. If that's what you're talking about? I use it if I accidentally over-inflate the tire a bit, and and need to back the pressure off a bit. I don't know if that is releasing air out of the hose. I suspect that it is being released from the inner tube. Hope that it helps. I've had one of these for years and it still works like a champ!

Answer:	"stand up the pressure" isn't really the right question, IMO. Can it "stand up to the volume" is. I wouldn't want to pump up a big tire with it. The pump doesn't put out much volume with each stroke. It would take a long time to pump up a riding lawn mower tire, lots and lots of pumping.I have used it to about 170psi (200 rated), it had no issue pumping up to that pressure. I regularly use it to go to 100-110psi, it does that easy. All of that is pretty small volume air chambered stuff.I really, really like mine, it is an awesome pump for what I use it on.

Answer:	No. PWM controllers send a modulated frequency through a fourth wire (typically blue) that controls the fan speed. The combined system pulses the 12v on and off at high or low rates and this determines the speed of the fan. With out this 4th wire you can only control the fan by reducing the volts to the fan. This also lowers the torque at lower speeds (unlike constant torque with PWM fans) and is less energy efficient, due to how the voltage is forced down to a lower amount (a lot of energy loss going to heat in the voltage regulator). Side note; the yellow wire is only for sensing RPM and no control.
