Question:	Has anyone been able to get the fold creases out? I'm concerned about them laying flat
Answer:	I had no problem with the creases, I ordered them in the summer, layed them out in a warm spot in the sun. Creases gone. After two years one is perfect, the other fell apart in the first week.

Basics, 1/4 inch is manufactured with 100% felt & rubber and contains no glues or adhesives that can outgas, offering a more natural & nature friendly rug pad alternative to traditional plastic, vinyl, and pvc rug pads. Our felt is heat pressed to the rubber, not glued, for added durability. As the cost of rubber increases, manufacturers have been using more "clay fillers" in their rug pads to reduce costs. The more clay fillers are used, the faster the rubber backing will fall apart and crumble. The alternative to most felt and rubber rug pads is traditional open weave PVC padding. While more cost effective, these overseas pads can often outgas and may contain potentially toxic chemicals and plasticizers such as phthalates and formaldehyde. Both bad for the environment and bad for your floors, out-gassing from inferior padding can react with certain floor finishes to leave them permanently stained and discolored. • STRONG BACKING - Jet Black natural rubber backing contains 10oz rubber sq/yd w. additional 5oz rubber coat.  This prevents pad from breaking down and while providing more grip for rugs. Rubber backing WILL NOT mark or stain floor.
• ADDS CUSHION - Available in 3 thicknesses, adds cushion under rugs while protecting floors from furniture and foot traffic. For MORE cushion, try our thicker 1/3’’ option. For LESS cushion try our thinner 1/8" option.
• SAFE FOR HOME - Our felt is tested quarterly by the Carpet and Rug Institute to ensure low off-gassing and low VOC’s - hypoallergenic - mold, mildew and moth resistant.
• MADE IN THE USA - We manufacture all of our rug pads in our factory and ship directly to you.  By cutting out the middleman, we pass these savings back to the customer.

Question:	Anyone have this on a high quality hand made oriental? I am surprised at how soft the pad is
Answer:	I have a 9" x 12" handmade wool oriental & the pad is perfect. I wouldn't call it "soft". Good cushioning underfoot but not too soft to cause the buckle or slide around.
Question:	Just purchased this pad but am concerned the rubber backing will trap moisture beneath on my hardwood floor. Has anyone had that problem
Answer:	We have hardwood floors (and dogs) and have not experienced any problems of moisture being trapped underneath the pad.
Question:	Is this pad easily trimmed with a scissors for a custom size rug
Answer:	We suggest using heavy duty scissors or a utility knife the pad. Something very sharp to insure the cuts are neat.
Question:	the rubber on my pad is gray not black. Is this the same material as your ultra black backing
Answer:	The color of the rubber is black, Sometimes the color of the rubber can vary.
