Answer:	Usually, they separate with a slight twisting motion if they were pressed together a bit too vigorously. If they're really stuck, Amazon will take them back as damaged and send you a new set. Don't be afraid to give them a good twist (as if you were unscrewing them from each other) while pulling apart. The plastic can take it.

Answer:	Yes, it has a heavy plastic handle covered with canvas material with wide Velcro, that could wrap around the rod, it should hold. It also has a hanger in the back you can hang it on a hook as well. I like mine, it’s heavy canvas, zippers and made well, don’t think you would disappointed
