Answer:	Bottom is not removable. Only recommend putting plastic items on it though. I use it for glass bottles and it gets a bit top heavy. Needs a bigger base.

Answer:	Yes, it is advertised as a drying rack. Not many people had reviewed the drying rack when I bought it. It is very small, it looks like a desk letter holder. I wouldn't have gotten it had I realized it was so small and not usable for larger bags. The largest bags that fit are regular sandwich bags. It is metal and comes with extra rubber tips for the legs.

Answer:	Hi - It is a really well made, strong stand. It is made of steel, with rubber pads on the bottom for stability and to prevent scratching on a counter top. I have never tried anything but plastic bags and a few smaller flasks but I think if the flask was balanced and not tipping over it definitely would hold it. This is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets as it folds up for storage in a drawer. It's made in Japan and is a quality product. One other thing is the uprights are 10" tall if that helps.

Answer:	Probably not. Here's why: It is made to fold flat for storage - AWESOME feature! To do that, the two pieces are joined together in the middle with a metallic/silverish type of rivet. It is not coated black like the rest. Even if this part were galvanized, it would eventually rust. This is a great product. It will last a very long time. Putting it in the dishwasher may shorten it's lifespan, so as a precautionary measure, I would suggest not. Take care of it, and it will take care of you!

Question:	Does anyone have a problem with mold or discoloration on the wood from being wet after some length of use
Answer:	Hi, gluing the dowels is necessary for the dryer to be strong. Otherwise the dowels get wobbly which makes the holes get bigger and then the dowels get even wobblier! The directions include gluing with Elmer's glue for strength and oiling with mineral oil for protection from water damage. Thanks for checking. :) --from seller

Answer:	Yes, they are not very thick in diameter

Answer:	I will edit the description soon to be more explicit! Assembly requires Elmer's glue (which is the same as wood glue) to glue the dowels into the holes for strength; without gluing the dowels get wobbly over time and start to enlarge the holes which makes them even more wobbly. Applying mineral oil with a rag protects the dryer from mold & mildew, due to the water it's exposed to. And a hammer might be needed to tap the dowels all the way into the holes. For mounting, a pencil and Phillips head screwdriver are needed.

Answer:	There is a screw where the two bars meet on the bottom. The two pieces rotate around that screw. So it just move the legs to the size you want. I got to a roll hold trash bags but the roll was actually too big to fit inside. So I put one of the arms through the center of the bags until the circumference was small enough to fix inside the 4 legs/prongs. Not the intended use, but it works for me.
