Answer:	No they have not for me. It pretty thick I used it to cover some boxes that had pretty bold patterns and it worked great!

Answer:	I used this for drawer liners but yes you can line up the pattern for a larger area. I'm not sure how many rolls you will need. You'll have to measure the square footage of your wall but 1 roll does not have much length on it. Check the product description for dimensions. Sorry I could not be more help.
