Question:	If I place something that weighs approximately 7 lbs on it, will that be enough weight to keep the turntable stationary when I want it to turn
Answer:	I have a small TV on mine (less than 7 lbs) and because of the rubber stoppers on the bottom it never moves when I turn the TV back and forth. It has not slid since I have owed it.

Answer:	As long as the bottom of the TV, the part that would actually rest on the turntable, has something to support it, then yes. If the bottom is a hollowed-out shell type support, or if there are "feet" at the corners of the TV that would keep the bottom of the TV from touching the turntable, you should be fine. As for sizing, the turntable is plastic and too much weight on too little plastic will eventually cause problems, no matter what the product is. But when you increase the size of the turntable to distribute the weight over a larger area, then part of the circular turntable could extend out in front of the face of the TV. As such, the swivel is no longer "invisible." However, the plastic is a bit darker than the pic shows, and that helps make it not as noticeable, especially if it's resting on a medium or dark colored surface. I bought a couple for some monitor stands and the swivel is very even and smooth and stops where you leave it (as opposed to others that are so loose or slick that they continue move even after you stop turning it.) I would definitely buy them again.

Answer:	I use it for turning a 42 inch flat screen. It is excellent in that there is almost no friction. Regarding fast rotation it depends on how many rpms you are looming for.

Answer:	A scrabble board would be larger than the turntable, but you could set the board on top. I’m not sure how you will control the turning, since it’s likely the board will just slide across the turntable. I use it for painting and when I grab the piece I am painting the weight of the piece turns the turntable.

Answer:	Fredrick, the short answer is you can't connect the card to the front panel on your computer. You can purchase a USB 3.0 card that has a 20-pin motherboard connector that would allow you to connect to the front panel of your computer. Not knowing the computer you plan on adding the card, I can't suggest the card to purchase. The card you asked the question about is "cord free" because it does not require a separate power connector from your power supply to provide power for the USB connections.

Answer:	I don't understand your question. If you planned on mounting a camera on one side, and using the rotating action as a pan, then it would be clumsy but probably doable. The sides are pebbled surfaces to keep things [placed on them from slipping off

And double check your circumstance, dimensions on both the TV stand and the swivel stand to make sure there is room, as not all 55" tv base stands are the same dimensions. I took my swivel stand from using it as a lazy susan for my extremely heavy 3 tiered craft stand and am now using it under our 46" craftroom tv and have no problems rotating it and its very stable. Hope that helps, but measure in inches your tv base to make sure. The measurements given for the stand on the ad are correct.
