Answer:	The nonstick surface is PFOA free, but it is not PTFE free. These substances, while both potentially toxic, are different. Note: Many cookware and bakeware manufacturers have switched from PFOA non-stick coatings to PTFE non-stick coatings. People are becoming increasingly aware that PFOA contain compounds that are harmful, but fewer people are aware that PTFE compounds are also harmful. A change from PFOA to PTFE is a change from one harmful compound to another. Answer:	One would assume that the expiration date would vary depending on when you purchase it. But I will say that I bought the 3 pack option in Nov 2019, and they expire 4/20. Which is way too soon. So I won’t be buying again, at least not a 3 pack on Amazon. I have bought directly from Swanson plenty of times and the expiration dates aren’t usually so quickly forthcoming. :(

Answer:	Easy to clean, I just washed it with my dishes even thought I could remove it with a napkin. Yes it’s non stick.

Answer:	There is no drip tray. There is however a slight edge on the sandwich trays that should catch slight spills. Not intended for cooking meats like a George Forman grill.

Answer:	Not sure if it’s teflon. But they do have some anti-stick coating.

Answer:	The 'shell' is composed of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and there is an anhydroglucose unit which is a single sugar molecule in a polymer. It is labeled as 'vegetarian', but I see nothing in the ingredients that would keep it from being vegan. Fermented foods work just as well.

Answer:	Because we are discussing live culture, the best results can be received on or before the sell-by date. I often use them later and still get results after cultures begin to deteriorate, because of the large dose. Still billions available for digestion. I try not to leave in a hot automobile. If I do I discard them.
