Question:	How high is the lip on the pan? Could I use it to fry something in a half inch of oil
Answer:	Lip is about one half inch and rounded. I would never use this pan with more than a coating of oil. Using more could cause a spill and fire.
Question:	I like to make small personal pizzas, will this work instead of the 14" pizza pan which is too big
Answer:	It is excellent for this purpose, but you should also consider the Lodge pizza griddle. I preheat to 500, insert my pizza on a pizza screen and then slide off onto the cast iron after 4-5 minutes. I lightly oil the screen but not the pan. The 14" griddle is a terrific pan for many purposes, and it retains higher heat even if you're only using a small part of the surface. Some people use it as a "pizza stone." I use both these pans very frequently.
Question:	Does this pan work on an induction stove
Answer:	It works.... but you've got to really watch it ... The cast Iron ware I use (1 vintage wagner bought at a yard sale, and 2 new lodge products) gets too hot and in turn heats the induction plate so high it turns off... I have a salton portable cook top from costco (similar to ASIN:B00FAD57SC Salton Induction Cooker Energy efficiency 300W-1800W, 140F-465F)

Answer:	Works great on our induction cooktop on either side. Heats very rapidly if you want, but of course the way to heat cast iron is slowly so it comes to the temp you want to cook at. Cast iron is of course way better than the clad cookware that can get loud from vibrations as the different layers absorb the magnetic energy at different rates. This also doubles as a great defrosting plate from stuff from the freezer. Your great-great grandchildren will be glad you bought this as they're using it.

Answer:	Overall size is 20X10.44 inches. It is designed to fit over two (front to back) burners on most home ranges. The exact fit will be determined by the exact measurements of the distance from the front edge of the front burner to the back edge of the back burner. The maximum length has to be approx 19.5 inches to accommodate this griddle.

Answer:	I have a Samsung induction cooktop (this model NZ36K7880US) and can report it DOES heat evenly and consistently on that model when the ridges face down. It does NOT work with a family member's thermidor. So it is dependent on your induction cooktop.

Answer:	Common with cast iron. Never in dishwasher. Or with soap. Brush it clean and keep dry. Use oil sunfloweroil or similar regurly and it will last a lifetime

Question:	Can this work on electric stoves? We live in a apartment and don't have gas stoves nor the space for a real grill
Answer:	If your burners are the same size this will work well. I LOVE it but have a very hard time getting the heat even as my back burner is smaller than the front burner. I would only use it for pancakes in the kitchen though. Lots of smoke if you try to do meat. Probably better with a gas stove. Someday I will have one.

Answer:	This was a gift for my sister and she LOVES IT. She has gas burners so I dont have a solid answer for you. My only concearn would be a food or grease build up that wasnt completely cleaned off being between the glass top burner and the pan. I personally have a glass top stove and would be reluctant to use it.

Answer:	Usually 3 to 8 minutes. Average being 5-6 minutes. Make some practice waffles, noting the time to cook them just right, then use a timer. Don't open the waffle maker during cooking.... Good Luck....

Answer:	The country of origin wasn't found anywhere on the packaging when we ordered this. As a result, we are guessing this is made in China. While Backcountry Iron compares themselves with Lodge Cast Iron (proudly made in the United States since 1896), with Backcountry Iron keeping their country of origin a secret led us to doubt their integrity and quality.

Answer:	Our Yeti cooked waffles very evenly. We followed the instructions, setting the temp to 400 degrees for 3 minutes. They were perfect. Really have enjoyed this advanced step from our George Forman grill.

Answer:	It would be better if you mentioned the weight of your hibachi. In any case this table is structurally well designed. Most of the wight of your grill will be positioned over the vertical legs. It is well braced. The only issue you might run into is front to back stability if you put it on an uneven surface. This is a nice table that folds out of the way pretty easily.

Answer:	Better to place tank on bottom rack. I removed that rack and sat it on the ground surface.
Question:	what are the dimintions of the bayou classic
Answer:	The cover Cuisinart offers for this grill/stand fits perfectly; however, it's very low quality. If you use it outside, in a few months the black color will turn to white-grey and soon thereafter holes will appear. Its life span is approx. a year and then you can trash it. I'm on my second one at this time because I can't find any other cover that properly fits this combo (S. Florida).

Answer:	I have the same model Cuisinart. This stand was recommended by their outsourced customer service company. The top is 16 x 24 and is metal (steel I think). My grill just fits on it with the legs extended. It's not a solid surface top but "slats" of steel. I put a cookie sheet wrapped in aluminum foil under the grill as an additional precaution for grease catching. The side tables fold up, they are plastic. My only "complaint" is that the bottom "shelf" is pretty flimsy for supporting a 5-gal propane tank. The table does fold down nicely and has a carrying handle as well as Velcro straps to keep it from unfolding when you carry it.
