Question:	I bought this a year ago, but lost the instruction pamphlet. Can anyone tell me how long I preheat on each side and the heat setting on the stove. Also, how much batter and for how long do I cook on each side. Thanks
Answer:	The instructions state to heat on "each side" for 3 minutes over medium to medium-high heat and to cook for 2-3 minutes. I lifted the lid and gently pressed the waffle the first time to be sure it was set and firm. I also found that once they waffles started to lightly brown they were done.

Answer:	I returned this waffle maker as soon as it arrived. It says clearly on the package it has non-stick coating on it. If you read nordic ware official response carefully, it says that they DO use PTFE which is basically teflon coating on their stove-top cook ware. This waffle maker is designed to be used on the stove top, therefore it DOES contain PTFE. If you are looking a totally teflon free waffle maker, buy a cast iron one and season it well.
