I talked with Amazon, and the lady gave me the manufacturer’s link to their manuals online for their products. — This product is not listed! And the “space saver” model that is listed looks different than the one pictured on Amazon (which looks like the one I received)! I’m wondering if the one I received is a “knockoff”. I spoke with Amazon again. I had ordered/received the machine, extra bags, and the extra warranty — they are all being returned/refunded. Answer:	33 inches from floor to top of lid while it’s opened. Measured with clothing tape measure, but it should be the same with a regular tape measure (mine broke), I would think.
Question:	How easy is it to clean
Answer:	With the lid on, it’s height is 23”, width using measurements across the top of the lid is 13” (narrower part) and 16” (wider part). The can is a small amount narrower at the back, I guess so the bag fits easier. I still stretch half of the bag at the top. Otherwise, the 13-gallon Hefty bags I use are hard for me to fit. But I have arthritis and trouble doing things. You may have no trouble at all. I love this can though 👍🏻!!! Hope this info helps you and others.

Answer:	Completely smooth bags will not work because they will feel themselves when they're pinched in the vacuum chamber. The only way you would be able to use something like that is to also use like a plastic drinking straws shove down in there to keep it open enough that it can suck the air out of it and then double ceiling it to try to melt the strong enough that it won't let the air leak out

Answer:	At first I thought mine didn't lock as well. With some trepidation I pushed down really hard on both front corners and both sides clicked. I was very surprised at how much force it took. Once I figured that out it has worked perfectly.

Answer:	I haven’t had any issues, I cleaned out the container first before I put the food in it. I would keep an eye out and if it continues clean the container and take your dog to the vet
