Answer:	I don't think heat is an issue with crock pots. They don't usually get that hot. Size and shape are what makes a difference. Being square, it didn't fit well in my oval pot.

Answer:	Most can so I don't see why this one can't. A simple direction for one would be:DirectionsRub your slow cooker lightly with 1 tablespoon butter or margarine.Pour in rice, water and salt.Cover and cook on High 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.Note: Up to 4 cups raw rice may be prepared in slow cooker making 10 cups cooked.
Question:	Does the temperature switch to warm automatically after the heating time is finished
Answer:	Mine doesn’t switch over to warm automatically. It turned off. Bought another, more reliable unit and gave this to a housewife down the street who will be around when this shuts down and can set it to warm if necessary.
Question:	What is the material of the crock pot ? Is it metal, ceramic or cast aluminium ? Also is it non stick
Answer:	The exterior is metal with plastic for the handles and time/temp controls. The lid is glass with a plastic handle and metal rim. The interior pot is glazed ceramic. When cooking as directed, I’ve never had anything stick hard in a crockpot, and suspect it would take some serious effort to do that. Not even cooking stuff in barbecue or teriyaki sauce sticks hard. Everything has always washed off with little effort, and I always wash mine by hand. There’s a reason why glazed ceramic is so popular for prolonged cooking/baking, you know.

Answer:	You mean Proposition 65, right? The electronics in the unit would be enough to necessitate a Proposition 65 warning. Does the ceramic liner contain any appreciable amount of heavy metals, like lead? Hamilton Beach states that their ceramics factories are lead free. Indeed, all the online tests I've read indicate the Hamilton Beach glaze is lead free, and they pass strict manufacturing tests for lead leeching. Note that the glaze is the barrier between food and the earthenware ceramic container, and it is what is guaranteed to be lead free, and that is the important part.

Answer:	Use a avocado oil spray instead of olive, canola, etc... when using these indoor grills. Avocado spray has a much higher “smoke” point then the others and will give you that golden brown color on grilled meats and veggies.

Answer:	Most foods air fry in 10-15 minutes to a golden crispy deliciousness ie: french fries, fried shrimp, hash browns with no added oil. I’ve grilled steak, salmon, cod in 10 minutes. Baked a cake in 25 minutes. Steamed fish, broccoli, & rice in 8-12 minutes. I don’t usually preheat - just put it in & it preheats & starts cooking, timer goes off & if you don’t take it out, automatically goes to keep warm mode. It is a slow cooker as well. I haven’t used my gas stove since I got the XL grill 3 weeks ago. Love it!

Answer:	I have 2 oval shaped crock pots, a 4.5 quart and a 10 quart, and these liners fit both, even though the box says they fit up to 8 quart size.

Answer:	With my "poor" English I really do not know what "four count bags" means. Each box contains 4 bags, and 12 boxes contain 12*4=48 bags. Our clay pots do not retain flavors or odors after cooking, and we regularly make lots of different things in the same clay pot, including strong meals like lamb stew, followed by yogurt or white rice (after washing, of course), and there is absolutely no flavor transfer. Our high-temperature water-glazing process, using only water and 2500+ degree heat, seals the clay against any type of food/flavor/scent transfer, and also strengthens the clay a great deal to prevent breakage.

Answer:	Well mine has a hairline crack too. I added more tap water to an already hot pot and it cracked halfway across the bottom. Yes they have replacement pots, but you have to buy the lid too. The replacements only come in sets. Depending on how long you have had the pot will depend on the price. They will give a certain percentage off depending on how many months you had the pot before it got damaged. My quote was $20.00 pot + $20.00 shipping. They also want a picture of your cracked pot. If you are extremely careful with this pot it makes great food, but the clay is delicate. Mine sits in my closet still cracked :( I just use other healthy cookware on the stovetop for now.

Answer:	This VitaClay has 3 temperature settings, Yogurt, Low and High. The yogurt setting maintains a temperature of about 110- 115 degrees. Answer:	I have a multi-cooker (vm7900-6) and I've been using it about 7-8 years. I love it. Everything tastes better when make it in this thing, and everything is easy to make. You can make anything in here: yogurt, stew, soup, broth, rice, quinoa, steel cut oats, steam anything, heat anything up.... pretty much all-inclusive except for baking. The thing I like about the multi-cooker (oval model) is that it's got the yogurt maker, and yogurt made in clay is really like no other yogurt, plus you can make it for pennies on the dollar rather than buying it in the store. I also like the delay timer on it, when i cook steel cut oats I set it to start cooking about an hour before I wake up and it's hot and ready when I wake up! Otherwise you have to wait like an hour for those things to be fully cooked. I also like the "reheat" feature, which I don't think the other one has. Just pop in some soup or something you want to steam, press "reheat," and it's ready 5-10 minutes later. I don't use a microwave so this feature is handy for me.

Answer:	If you're talking about the big round disc, on top in the back, I just leave that alone. It will self adjust. You just lock lid on and make sure the small dial on the top/front is set until the cooking time is over and you release the pressure with it. I know the directions are a bit confusing. I've always had a traditional pressure cooker but swapped over to have two-in-one. I kinda figured it out by trial and error the first time I used it. Once you do it works/cooks everything perfectly!
