I have heard of paper filters being modified to use in coffee makers such as this, but personally, I think it is a waste of time, energy and resources to do so. Incidentally, this HB unit is an outstanding, durable, long-life unit which also works well for heating water for tea, hot chocolate, or instant coffee, as well as being a great unit for heating apple cider during the hot cider season. (Don't forget to drop a couple of fresh cloves cloves into your pot of cider for a delightfully delicious and aromatic holiday time beverage. |
