Answer:	Yes. The legs fold inward and the bench is hinged to fold shut. Really sturdy.

Answer:	The bench will probably hold 800 plus pounds, that is a guess but I have seen 4 or 5 adult males setting on these at one time. I would recommond the Lifetime benches over these benches. The Lifetime benches have a bar on the bottom of the legs instead of the small feet which sink into the ground or could dig into a floor. The bar keeps the legs from sinking or having to much wieght in one small place. (I have only used them outside but I have used both Lifetime and Best Choice benches and the Lifetime are better)
