Answer:	Just a simple word I've learned from Paragon, one of the best (and most expensive) commercial movie theater poppers available. Popcorn is ranked in variety. Movie theater popcorn, usually sold in the pre-mix bags, is a variety intended to pop the maximun amount of kernels (for maximum sales). You can easly use other oils and grocery store popcorn, but it is the lowest variety/quality you can get, and no telling how old (less pop) it might be. So jst keep in mind, you can use any, but quality matters. It might not make any difference to you if there are more umpopped kernels, when you are making gallons of popcorn anyway.
Question:	Is there a HEAT adjuster somewhere on this
Answer:	I've had 2 of these poppers. Prior suggestions are correct. Here's a summary of what I've found to work the best. 1. Coconut Oil 2. Preheat oil...I've never needed 5 minutes to heat it sufficiently. Usually within 2-3 minutes, but I wait until the coconut oil starts to snap. 3. Perhaps the most important....keep the kernels dry. I use a sealed storage container and vacate as much air as possible. Finally, I like various popcorn, but the mushroom seems to do best in this popper.....at least for me.
Question:	I just got mine and the light blub is broken..How do I get another one
Answer:	More than liklely, this is a heat lamp bulb. You can get one at any home improvement store. It is the same type bulb used in bathroom ceiling heat fans that have heat lamp lights. They can put off some considerable heat, so keep this in mind and buy a lower temperature bulb. It is not a fluorescent or led bulb, which produce no heat. At least, consider an older style incandescent 100 watt bulb. It might put out enough heat to keep your corn warm.

Answer:	This was a challenge for us too. I needed a food safe cleaner. We were able to clean the pot with soap and water but the glass was the tricky part. We tried “Babyganics Toy & Highchair Cleaner Spray, Fragrance Free, 17oz Spray Bottle” which was on Amazon but not available right now. I am sure any baby toy or high chair cleaner would work. This really cleaned the interior well while being food safe and giving off no odor.

Question:	How much oil does the measuring spoon hold
Answer:	With the cover on, it is 14" high. The diameter is 6.5". It you take the cover off and store it in a cabinet, the height is 9.5".

Answer:	I'm not sure about the plastic chute, but the inside of the container is metal. This is where the heating occurs and popcorn is placed. I'm assuming that the only area that is plastic and may contain BPA is the plastic top, but the popcorn only touches it for a brief second as it descends the chute into your bowl. I'm sure there is very little exposure to BPA if the plastic even contains it. Answer:	Currently, there are six for sale on Ebay which were made in the USA, including the same model I use (still) to make great popcorn, which I bought in 1996; made in Eau Claire, WI by Presto Industries. Ah...the good ol' days, when we kept manufacturing here, before NAFTA and "China, Most Favored Nation Status" took hold. Ugh.

Answer:	We have been using this popcorn popper for years to roast our coffee. For us, the popper lasts 9-12 months. Because it runs so much hotter (and longer) than with popcorn, the fan and mechanical pieces wear out faster. You can tell when the popper is near the end of its life when you have a hard time keeping all the beans a consistent roast. After years of using this model (and 3-4 poppers) we've become experts. Everything else people say about roasting beans is true as well. Do it outside, don't leave it alone and cool the beans quickly. Obviously we love this popper for our bean roasting since we keep buying new ones when it wears out. We figure at the rate we replace them, it will take another 3-4 years to approach the cost of a single purpose "coffee roaster". So it is a great cost alternative and at this price, a no-brainer.

Answer:	I use one cup of kernels to 1 tbl of popcorn oil and I get well over 12 cups of popcorn. Probably two store bags worth. This popcorn machine can make a lot of popcorn. My only qualm is it has no warming light so the popcorn doesn’t stay warm.

Answer:	I am looking for a new machine, ours just burned out on us Friday night - after it did its chore for us and the grand kids (7 and 9). We have always used about 1/4 cup of oil (redenbacker popcorn oil if we can find it - or - Veggie oil mixed with some butter). About 1/2 cup of Redenbacker or another cauliflower (premium carnival and movie theater popping corn) popcorn. We DO NOT use the butter cap on the top of the vent. Let it vent out the moisture and stuff. Don't clog up those vent holes with butter. We use the microwave to melt and pour on additional butter. I have never - since I first started using this popper in the 80's -- never had soggy or moist popcorn. I was in the service - my job entailed working in a room with no windows and 13 or 15 of us at a time. We popped using this tool for 1/2 of my 20 years. Thru 2 wars/actions - and a couple times per 12 hour shift. Fast and easy and easy clean up. Since the 80's ... this is my second machine - getting ready for my third. DON'T use the cap on it and don't use the butter melting suggestions - the popcorn will be done before the butter is melted.

Answer:	Not at all. Uncooked kernels get thrown out in all directions. Sometimes in the bowl, but mostly all over the counter and floor. No tray at the bottom either. I wouldn't recommend buying it.
