Step 1: First, remove the thickness knob, stop plate, inner knob.

How to Set Up the Meat Slicer

1. Find the V-shape feeder table in the package.

2. Find the bolt screws(the one that have wings) that's inside the accessory bag.

3. Put the v-shape feeder on the bottom board, put the bolts carefully through the hole on the bottom board, and secure the bolts tightly from the bottom side with bolt screws.

Note: Don't put the feeder table too far to the right, the blade on the handle might contact the feeder table when slicing.

1. Do not try to slice bone. It is important to only slice foods which do not contain bone. This can cause damage to your slicer.

2. Do not slice fully thawed meat. The best texture is one which is almost frozen. It is the same as if you were to slice chicken breasts in order to fillet them into very thin slices. I cut vegs, and I use it to cut watermelon, I slice the melon in large slices first then use slicer to cube. I love my slicer. I also slice home made bread. Answer:	The manual says it will slice up to 3/4"

Answer:	Raw meat doesn't slice well if it is raw and it releases blood that can contaminate the slicer. I don't freeze the meat, but I do put it in the freezer for an hour or two and then it slices very well.

I was nervous at first about how slow the blade rotates.. not reassuring to me.. not sure how that is good for the motor.. so my concern is longevity.. seems to slice things ok, however.. also considering it's output of electricity used you cannot expect professional grade. Answer:	I would not recommend it for slicing bread . Buy a bread slicer or a bread knife. It is a commercial grade meat slicer. It is great for deli meats. or even if you want to make jerky , just make sure your raw meat is partly frozen or very chilled.

Question:	While looking at the pictures I noticed that it does not have a standard US plug, do you have a model that comes with the standard wall outlet plug
Answer:	It opens to a hair more than 1-1/4". If that is too narrow for your countertop, you can do what I do. I clamp it onto a piece of 3/4" plywood. I lay a towel under the plywood, between it and the countertops and use speed clamps to secure the plywood to the counter tops. If you have decent countertops, you will not likely want to secure this directly to them anyways because it may scratch them.
Question:	How do you remove the blade?...The screws are extremely tight, I dont want to strip them
Answer:	The body must be a very low-grade of stainless steel, it shows small amounts of rust if I let it air-dry after washing. The cutting blade will start to show rust almost instantly post-wash. The die plates seem pretty resistant. hand wash, hand-dry, hit with some oil to prevent rust.
Question:	Will it slice raw meat at room temperature for jerky
Answer:	Despite the description, the plates and knife are not stainless. Mine immediately began rusting after I washed them and didn't hand dry them. Bizarre because on LEM's website, they only sell stainless steel plates and knifes replacements.

Answer:	Yes it will. But dont get to excited about this product. Made in China. Ridiculous to clean. No sharpener for the blade. Not very consistent cutting. Spend a little more money.

Answer:	It seems very sturdy, whether it will hold up to that quantity of meat I am not sure. I am very pleased with it for the purpose I use it for, which is slicing lunch meats.

Answer:	You can make a 7 inch slice. I make venision chip steak with it and it slices very nice.
Question:	Can you cut Frozen meat
Answer:	I haven't used it on frozen meat yet, but I can imagine after using it on refrigerated meat, it will work well on frozen meat also. You will have to go a little slower and not let it bog down, but I am planning on freezing my sirloin tip roasts before I cut next time to get a more consistent cut for making jerky. I am going to let it thaw a bit first before attempting it.
