Answer:	I don’t know if it’s right or not, but mine too is loose and moves around a bit. However, in my opinion it’s helpful when cleaning the mandoline, because pieces of vegetables or fruit inevitably become stuck around that area. The movement of the clear part makes it easier to clean.

Answer:	it has 3 settings. The first setting is paper thin, about 1/16. Second setting is 1/8 inch thick and the third setting is about 3/16 inch thick.

Answer:	Yes. It is awesome! Use the #2 or #3 setting. When you get close to the end USE THE HOLDER!!! This is a razor blade. People who report slicing fingers were foolish. When I was done slicing a potato I had two dime size nubs left. One from the start and one from the end. If you want longer chips slice on the bias/45° angle. Be careful and USE THE HOLDER!!!
Question:	What is the difference between dash safe slice mandolin and the zacharian one
Answer:	I tried a zucchini. Since the hand guard is only half the length of the zucchini, only the part of the zucchini that is under the hand guard gets cut. I just turned the zucchini around every few slices to even it out and do the other half, but I didn't get any slices as long as the zucchini. It slices so thin, though, that the zucchini is delicious. I hand jullienned the slices for "pasta".

Answer:	there are numerous "spiralizers" on sale at Amazon. There are types that are almost like machines, and some that are almost like little manual pencil sharpeners. The one favored by most reviewers is by Paderno. This one is very handy, but it doesn't make long "noodle" type strands

Answer:	It doesn't actually have a slicer blade, but you can make a very thin spiral "ribbon" of cucumber. It works quite well. I suggested they add a slicer blade.

Answer:	They can be used for cleaning the car window, but they are designed more for absorbing liquids like water and will wipe your car dry quickly. They have microfiber towels designed just for cleaning interior of windows, or you could use the "Old School " way like I have with great results, regular newspaper with Windex or Invisible Glass, and if you don't have those, you can use water in a spray bottle. Answer:	It does a good job but only on high speed. If you make sure the fan is clean over time and there is unobstructed airflow it is not that noisy.

Answer:	This is ment to be sitting inside 3 DVD size slots on your computer. So your case must have those slots. Second you will need to have 5 free sata connections cables. Third you will need to have 5 sata power connections or some splitters. Operationally it works like 5 extra hard drives connected to your system. Do with them what you will.

Answer:	The knife is 13" overall with an 8" blade and the width of slicer's cutting area is 6" so yes, it is long enough to reach from side to side. A couple of things I'd like to share: When I first got the slicer, owing to my lack of experience I tried to use a 'long' stroke, sort of like sawing a 2 x 4. That did not end well and I've learned to use short, light strokes resulting in much better results. Also, in the beginning I tended to press down with the knife with the result that I mashed the bread to the consistency of modeling clay. Hence, that reference above to 'light' strokes . In the event your loaf is narrower than the cutting surface you may want to gently and carefully hold the loaf against one side while you're slicing. That will prevent the loaf from sliding side to side and should make the task a lot easier. I realize my reply may be a case of being asked the time and explaining how to make a watch but in any event, I hope it helps. Enjoy!

Question:	What is the maximum thickness it can cut
Answer:	A little WD40 first and a snug fitting large screw driver. After once removed the screws come out easily.
Question:	Where is this made
Answer:	We do a lot of beef jerky. It does slice it raw, but not great. However, it works phenomenally when it's partially frozen.
Question:	Is it quality made
Answer:	This slicer would probably slice small pieces of frozen meat such as narrow sausage rolls. I mainly use it to slice jerky meat, which I partially thaw before slicing. Two items should be noted about this slicer: (1) the blade must be removed for proper cleaning and (2) the instructions were not written by someone knowledgeable in English.
