Question:	Can you use it with guitar amp
Answer:	Comfort wise these do NOT compare, AT labels them as over the ear but that only applies to kids and midgets. These press your ears against your head and will quickly cause discomfort. And in my opinion the 50X version sound very shrill, have very recessed mids, and have soundstage comparable to earbuds, overall unpleasant. Not worth the $100+ price tag. The senheisers are neutral and relaxed, some might desire more treble or bass but their purpose is balance. The sennheisers really shine in the mid-range, vocals really feel natural. The soundstage can very on models but overall great considering they are open back, instrument separation is very good. Overall they are worlds apart and can't really be compared as their purposes are very different. Consider other closed back headphones imo.

Answer:	Yes. I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075M4TRWR/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 last December and they are in fact superior to the OEM pads. Wish I'd purchased them sooner. They turned my A-T headphones into true noise cancelling headphones! The pads are that tight sonicaly to my ears, without causing discomfort or excess ear sweating. Love these pads, and especially my A-T headphones!

Answer:	Headphones don't drain batteries. They just talked the juice from the headphone amp. I think with the agent of so many consumer grade headphones with noise cancellation or built in amplifiers we have a slew of people completely confused and misinformed with the basics of audio gear. These are the same people that will give a bad review to ga reat product simply because that don't understand the products intended use.

Monster makes a wide range of headphones not all of which are just Beats clones. Answer:	Well yes, but they have no special mic or anything, you would be able to use them but they wouldnt do anything fancy like normal Mac earphones. Answer:	No, there is no mic on these headphones. They are primarily used for studio work.

Answer:	I use them when I go for walks at the park and they are perfect, but, I believe that depending on what type of activity you are doing at the gym. I believe that they would not work very well in a activity where your head is moving all the time, the headphone would tend move.

Answer:	They are rather big and bulky to bring on a plane. They don't "cancel" the backround noise and they only muffle thebackround noise I get in my den. The planes engines, I doubt it. However, for listening at home, they can't be beat!

Answer:	The limiting factor will the DAC (digital-to-analog-circuit) of the device you are using. You can have a pair of top-notch headphones, but if the DAC on the device is sub-par, then you will not get the sound quality potential out of the headphones. When I use these on my hacked Kindle, they sound great. Used with my Huawei phone, definite difference, even with use of the EQ. Also, these cans are 40ohm impedance. You might needs to consider a pair with a lower impedance rating (my MDR-X10's are 25ohm). Hope this helps!

Answer:	A small, cheap usb DAC adapter probably won't work well for these. They need a bit of power to drive them properly. Power supplied solely from a PC USB port probably won't be enough (500mA max for USB 2.0 and 900mA max for USB 3.0). You will get much better results from an external audio interface and/or a headphone amp.

Answer:	Even with loud volumes, the leakage is generally non-existent. The volume needs to be uncomfortably loud for me to start hearing a very slight sound leak.

Answer:	I love these headphones for listening to music as well as TV. I had a pair of MDR-V6 phones I bought from Tower Records in Nashville years and years ago in the early 90s that just died after almost 30 years of service, and these are very very similar. These don't have quite the bass that the V6s did, and the highs are a little brighter, but that will be in my best interest if they last me 20+ years like the V6s did! There's a reason the MDR7506s became an industry standard soon after they were released by Sony in 1991 and it's not because they're bad to listen to. If you want to listen to your music the way the engineers and artists probably heard it in production, grab a pair of these. Hit YouTube and watch the in-studio recordings of Sting's Ten Summoner's Tales songs and look at the headphones everybody is wearing. Everybody. Mix of both MDR-V6 and MDR7506, the MDR-V6s having been released six years earlier in 1986. All the way up to current times like the video for "Times Like These" with Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Ellie Goulding and all those other artists that was released a few weeks ago had a couple of people wearing them. That's longevity. I found that they are more comfortable with the aftermarket lambskin leather earpads that you can find for around $20. They aren't super easy to put on, but are very comfortable. I love the headphones for listening to music as well as television when I don't want to keep people up at night.

Answer:	The noise canceling works great, but it does not block very loud sounds. Like if you are closing the street and a motorcycle is coming at you, you will hear it, which could be good or bad depending where you are.

Answer:	I'm not quite certain what you mean? The headphones themselves does not have a mic built in. However, plugging your headphone aux cable into most "headphone" jack would create a "dirty" mic affect. I wouldn't recommend this for any performance. The product comes with what you see in the photo/s. The set of headphones (great sound for the price) and that's all. Hope this helps.
