Answer:	A 10oz bag of mini chocolate chips worked for me. The consistency of the chocolate has to be thin, flowing like water, so you're not using a lot of chocolate. Took to an office party and probably didn't use an entire cup(8 oz) of chocolate. 50 people at party, not everyone used of course but less than half of things to dip were leftover. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It runs for about an hour on a bag of chocolate. At the most might serve 10 people. Be adviced that it it very sensitive to wind.

Answer:	Mercken Chocolate is the best -- it is widely available but not at "big box" stores. Go to a confectionary/cake supply place. I do add oil to make sure it flows well.

Answer:	I bought three pounds for a party of 15 people; And we had some chocolate left, but not too much; I would suggest that you warm up the fountain at least 30 minutes before.. it needs to be really warm, as well as the chocolate, though the chocolate shouldn't be that warm, but liquid-- so as to have the chocolate moving through the fountain for a longer time. And I wouldn't use oil as the recepie says, I would use cream, or half-half. Good luck!

Answer:	Scrape as much chocolate off as you can while its still warm, then use hot soapy water to clean it. Having a bottle brush is handy to clean down the centre of the chrome bit thoroughly.

Answer:	Yes. I operate a fountain rental company and had a client request nacho cheese in it. It worked out well but you need to find a cheese thin enough to flow over the fountain. Streight up cheese is way too thick, as is chocolate, to flow smoothly over a fountain. So you need to find a thinning agent for it. I believe my client used a little bit of milk to accomplish it but I've seen paramount crystals used as well. Also I've had requests for ranch dressing (with the heat off) and bbq sauce with these fountains - which smells awesome btw. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I say two bags should do it. 1 bag is not enough to have an even flow like the photo above, but it still flows fine, just has gaps as it pours from the top down. 2 bags fills those gaps and ran nicely about 2 hrs before i had to fill it with another half bag for my gathering. I have used this 5x already in one month. TIP: as we get close to the winter months - this will STILL pre-melt your chocolate - but you have to figure that it may take a big longer since the metal will be as cold as your home is.
