Question:	How wide are the slots
Answer:	The slots are 1.5" X 5.75". This is exactly why I bought this toaster. Every other toaster I've measured in stores have slots that are only 5.5" long and that's not long enough for the rye and whole grain bread that I buy. In my old toaster I would have to cut the toast in half and toast each half separately. This is the ONLY toaster I've found that my bread fits into without having to cut it or stuff it in. Love this toaster!
Question:	Does this toaster 'beep' loudly? My dog is scared of my current toaster that beeps loudly, so I'm looking for one without beeping
Answer:	This toaster does not beep, only the sound of the toast popping up when it is done...personally, I can highly recommend this toaster... Great value.
Question:	On the bagel setting, does it toast only on one side or both sides of the bagel
Answer:	Bagel setting only toasts on one side. You put the cut side in towards the middle and that side gets toasted only.
Question:	Does anyone know where it is manufactured? Hopefully not China
Answer:	The only toasters that aren't made in China (that I know of) are Dualit (handmade in the UK) and Star Manufacturing. But, you're going to pay over $250 for them.
