Answer:	You can't. You can use the shower head or dual. You can't use just the handheld alone. I know because I bought one, hooked it up, and tried. No go. So I figured it was broken, and asked for a replacement. Same deal...now I will need to return this one too. Very disappointed with how this is advertised, which is sad because it has a nice look and feel.

Answer:	The water's supposed to come out initially at a lower pressure to dampen the grounds before it reverts to full pressure for the brewing process. My experience with my Bonavita BV1900TS has been that the coffee brewed without pre-infusion seems stronger than brewed with it. And yes, the light remains steady when pre-infusion is off and blinking when it's on. You have to hold the power switch done five seconds until it blinks for on or blinks for off. You have to hold it down again for 5 seconds to change it from on to off or vice versa.

Answer:	I started by removing everything removable I could find, in terms of gaskets, seals, rubber or small plastic parts. That caused leaks in certain areas, so I started adding back parts where there were leaks, and stopped when I had a unit that didn't leak.

Answer:	Mine came with a small tube of extra silicone. Probably good to last for quite a while.

Answer:	Yes, it opens like any solder sucker, down by the black rubber gasket near the tip. You should also check to make sure the silicone tube isn't obstructed, as well. I haven't had an issue with either, though, and it can hold a lot of solder before requiring cleaning.

Answer:	not really, the low speed which is the first speed is very powerful. It actually needs a lower first speed.

Answer:	I would say this one is also shockingly fast on level 1. I was surprised by a face full of flour the first time I used it. Even now, something goes flying out of the bowl every time I've used the mixer. I have never had to use any speed over level 1.
