Answer:	They are two unrelated technologies. Genius cooking sensor measures the steam produced by what's cooking to determine when it's done. Theoretically it avoids undercooking or overcooking compared to cooking by time alone. I don't know how well it works. Inverter technology is a technology which allows the microwave to heat food at a constant medium or low heat. When you set the "power" level on any other microwave to something less than full power, it will simply cycle the power on an off over the tie period you set in order to provide reduced cooking. For example, if a unit has 10 power levels and you set it to cook at level 5 for 2 minutes, the microwave will run at full power for maybe 10 seconds, provide no heat (system still running and counting down) for the next 10 seconds, then switch back on for 10 seconds, etc. until the two minutes are up. There is no "medium" or "low" power, the full power just cycles on and off. The Inverter technology actually allows the heat to be applied continuously, but at a lower power so it doesn't heat as quickly. From what I've read in reviews, people can't tell much difference between the two, though Panasonic will claim more even heating. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I just received mine 2 months ago and had no manual or recipe book in the packaging. I found this simple recipe for Old Fashioned Vanilla ice cream and my family loves it. It is not the custard type so requires no cooking. 2 cups heavy cream. 2 cups whole milk. 3/4 cup of sugar. 2 teaspoons good vanilla ( I use one vanilla bean). Pinch of salt. Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth. Pour into ice cream canister. Layer ice and rock salt or ice cream salt in the ice cream maker's bucket and turn it on. It takes about 25 minutes until soft serve and then I put it in a freezer container until hardened. It works well for us. Amazon says you can contact the manufacturer for a manual but I just googled recipes for it. Hope his helps!

Answer:	Including the bumpout in the back and the plug, it will stick out 13 3/4" from the wall to the front of the microwave. Our kitchen cabinet shelf is exactly 12" so the microwave sticks out 1 3'4 inches but does not look wrong at all. Luckily our power outlet was positioned such that the microwave plug plugged into the outlet to the side of the back microwave bumpout. If your outlet is right behind the bumpout, you'll have to add 1 1/4 " to the depth. Also the plug is *not* a flat-against-the-wall type plug... major design fail.

Answer:	When I bought this microwave, I was astonished at how loud it was. When my previous microwaved died - I knew it was happening because of the change in sound from a quiet fan noise to a much deeper sound. When I installed this Farberware microwave, it immediately was the deeper, louder sound. If I programmed this Farberware to cook at power level 3 the loud sound went on and off during the cook cycle. So I read the one star reviews more closely and noticed there are some significant patterns of failure of this unit. I did call the Farberware help line and they said, "That sounds about like the one in our break room" ( I cannot make this stuff up!) So I returned mine and bought another brand from Amazon. The replacement unit operates at the expected quieter level.
