Question:	can you explain the quick minute feature in detail ? do you have to select the amount of minutes and then push start or does it start automatic
Answer:	When you hit the Quick Minute, the timer is set to one minute. When you hit it twice, it will be two minutes...and so forth. It just eliminates the step of turning the dial to select increment of one minute. Then, hit Start to activate the microwave. Suppose you need to warm your food for one minute and twenty seconds, you can not hit Quick Minute and add 20 seconds by turning the dial. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes it does. It has an LED panel on the right side that illuminates the interior very well. Unlike some earlier models, the light comes on whenever the door is opened and whenever the microwave is operating. So, good light that you will probably never have to change.

Answer:	They claimed 12.4A/1480W. I just bought this model (brand new) and measured the current with kill-a-watt: peak 16.9A, average 14.5A. My 20A afci/gfci breaker is very sensitive. When current reaches 80% (16A) it DOES trip the breaker sometimes. I test it with a 15A AC outlet connected with 15A "traditional" breaker, it works fine. Not sure if I got a defective product. I have to return it. Be careful when reading microwave's specs. Usually the wattage in description is "power output", not "power comsumption". It is NOT that easy like 1200W/120V=10A.

Answer:	When I bought this microwave, I was astonished at how loud it was. When my previous microwaved died - I knew it was happening because of the change in sound from a quiet fan noise to a much deeper sound. When I installed this Farberware microwave, it immediately was the deeper, louder sound. If I programmed this Farberware to cook at power level 3 the loud sound went on and off during the cook cycle. So I read the one star reviews more closely and noticed there are some significant patterns of failure of this unit. I did call the Farberware help line and they said, "That sounds about like the one in our break room" ( I cannot make this stuff up!) So I returned mine and bought another brand from Amazon. The replacement unit operates at the expected quieter level.

Answer:	All of the time. My preference would be that it ( auto ) dimmed because in a "dark" room it seems to be overly bright. It's just my wish. It's like you can see the plastic components and space around "inside" the digital L.E.D. area...

The smart function in the unit will defrost perfectly without cooking the edges. I just defrosted (2) 4 oz beef pattys ,which is 8 oz or 0.5 lbs... punched defrost , 0.5lbs and start.

Answer:	Hallelujah!!! No more Beeping. In the Manual - Operations page 8 #3. No Beeps at all takes just a little bit to get used to. Inputting your cook time and such makes no Beeping sound. I live in a third floor apartment. The microwave I have still works but Beeped so much I want to throw it off the balcony. Interestingly this microwave is huge but weighs less than my old one that is half the size.

Answer:	I have an S7. In full sun, it went from 70% to 100% in about 40 minutes, so I estimate it would take around 2 hours to fully charge a dead battery. The S8+ has a larger battery, so I'm guessing you should see it fully charge in around 3 hours, but this is just a guess.

Using metal tools creates small cuts in the coating wherein foods and fats can stuck, which causes a layer of carbonized material. Use wooden, silicone or nylon tools. Always nest your non-stick pans carefully. Never place any metal pan covers with thin, sharp edges inside your pans.The coating does seem harder and less likely to scratch than other non-stick surfaces I've used in the past, but I want these to last for a long time, so will continue to use wooden and plastic utensils.
