Answer:	I don't see why not. I've never tried it that way but it sounds good!

Answer:	On the back is the "bulk" recipe, because I don't know your package size let me give you my solution. Take the amount of the package and the mix amount and calculate the small portion size. EX: I have a 6lb bag which is 96 oz. It makes 8 quarts. 96 oz/8 qts = 12 oz/qt = approx 24 tablespoons or 1 1/2 cups. Adjust flavor from there. I use milk instead of water for a creamier taste. Also, if you put fruit in the blender, add an approx. amount of frostline and milk it makes a great ice cream - strawberries and blueberries are wonderful and sugars are not needed with this mix. Coffee creamers and drink mixers also add a nice flavor. I suggest crushing oreos in a bag to add just before serving. Good luck, just calculate down to the amount you will need and adjust for flavor.

Answer:	my suggestion is, 2 cups milk, 1 cup half & half, 1 cup whipping cream, with I cup of ice cream mix. regular milk for vanilla. for chocolate use chocolate milk along with 1/4 cup of chocolate syrup. I believe this will work.

I think the whole bag is intended to be used in a commercial size ice cream freezer, however, there are instructions enclosed for making this in either a 1. 5 quart or 2 quart ice cream maker. I make it in my 1.5 quart Cuisinart ice cream maker and it is awesome!

Answer:	The bag contains about 9 cups of dry product intended to make 2 gallons (8 qts) of Dole Whip solution (prior to freezing). So just divide the instructions by 4 for 2 quart batches, by 5.3 for 1.5 quart batches, or by 8 for 1 quart batches. As such: Dissolve 2.25 cups (18 fl oz) of dry mix in ~1 qt of water, then add water to bring the total to 2 qt OR Dissolve 1.69 cups (13.5 fl oz) of dry mix in ~3/4 qt of water, then add water to bring the total to 1.5 qt OR Dissolve 1.125 cups (9 fl oz) of dry mix in ~1/2 qt of water, then add water to bring the total to 1 qt

Answer:	As soon the ice cream is ready I mean after 30 minutes I put in the container and in the freezer, if it is very hot the ice cream will not stay hard.

Answer:	From my point of view, it is more work than it's worth. All of my recipes are for 4 or 6 quart machines, so none will work with this unit. Purchased mixes don't taste as good to me as my homemade from scratch ones. No ice, no salt is true, but you have to freeze the insulated mixing bowl for a minimum of 12 hours before using it. 24 hours works better, and then refreeze the contents you don't use right away, in the bowl, so you can dispense them using the machine again. Plus, it's mostly plastic. If you drop it, it breaks and needs to be replaced. My opinion, stay with a 4 or 6 quart electric machine that lasts and produces more ice cream.

Answer:	No special mix. The recipe in the book (that comes with it) for vanilla ice cream calls for whole milk, sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla.

Answer:	Maybe, but the problem would be the coldness of the bowl. If you quickly scraped out the first flavor and immediately put in the mix for the next flavor it might work as long as the bowl doesn't warm up. You couldn't wash it out as that would warm the bowl. Take turns making their favorite flavors.

Answer:	I have only use the 902 model, but I believe the 987 is supposed to have a stronger motor.

Answer:	I purchased the 901 for my family and have given the 902 as gifts. The only difference I see is the accessories which are included with the 901. The machines themselves are pretty much the same. I haven't used any of the accessories that came with mine, i.e. the containers to make frozen pops. We use our Yonana machine several times a week. We love it. The fruit treat is just too darn good! You know you have to be cheating on any diet, but it is just fruit! Love it!
Question:	Mine always seems to come out in two lines with frosted icy bananas. It isn't very pleasant. Is there something I am doing wrong
Answer:	The problem is two-fold. First, the instructions and video tell you to put large chunks of banana in, alternately with small pieces of other fruit. But what it should be telling you is to chop the banana into smaller pieces (I like 1/4" to 1/2" lengths) before freezing them, and alternating small pieces of banana with other fruit. Secondly, no all videos tell you to let the mixture sit a few minutes, stirring a little, before serving. That's how you get the soft-serve texture. To get that soft-serve swirl you'll need to put the softened mixture into a pastry bag and feed out with a large tip. So the perfect soft-serve sorbet can be achieved, but they neglect to tell you exactly how. I only found out by searching for how-to videos on YouTube.

Answer:	One comes with a storage bowl and Popsicle forms and the other is just the machine. I really saw no need for the extras and the extra expense so I just bought the model that is a Yonanas Machine. Great device- love it!
