Answer:	I bought the Tovolo Ice cream tubs and they are very sturdy with a removable inner plastic liner for easy cleaning. The large bowl itself that fits inside the machine is not supposed to have ice cream frozen in it because it can damage it. I leave the empty bowl in my freezer until I'm ready to make a batch and then empty the contents into a Tovolo tub. I looked at other tubs but this brand seemed to have the best reviews, was reusable, and decent in price. They fit about 1.5 quarts and I have a little extra in the machine that I either eat or just put in a small Tupperware dish. I know you can go directly on the Cuisinart website if you need any part numbers for a specific model. I did see extra bowls for the machine on their site and on amazon. Just get your model number for your machine and type that in the search box.

Answer:	I just received mine 2 months ago and had no manual or recipe book in the packaging. I found this simple recipe for Old Fashioned Vanilla ice cream and my family loves it. It is not the custard type so requires no cooking. 2 cups heavy cream. 2 cups whole milk. 3/4 cup of sugar. 2 teaspoons good vanilla ( I use one vanilla bean). Pinch of salt. Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth. Pour into ice cream canister. Layer ice and rock salt or ice cream salt in the ice cream maker's bucket and turn it on. It takes about 25 minutes until soft serve and then I put it in a freezer container until hardened. It works well for us. Amazon says you can contact the manufacturer for a manual but I just googled recipes for it. Hope his helps!

Answer:	I don't think the 12 yr.old would have a problem. The younger ones might need help measuring and mixing the sugar and flavoring. Answer:	I am not sure what it is but mine hasn't scratched in a whole year, and the tools are thick and higher quality than most plastic tools, anyway we love ours because we can make natural healthier ice cream without a bunch of additives.
Question:	How many batches can I make with this before having to refreeze
Answer:	I've only tried one. If you use the recipe that comes with the unit, it makes servings for at least 6 medium dishes. I have not tried another batch. I just stick it in the freezer and can use it again in 6 hours.
Question:	How many minutes- hours does it tat frozen for
Answer:	I can fill the ice cream pan 3 times in approximately 5-7 minutes before the ice cream pan loses its optimal frozen temperature and I have to pop the pan back into the freezer. This is a great for making small batches of ice cream for 1-2 people.
Question:	Can you make dairy free ice cream ?? Can I use coconut milk
Answer:	You can actually poor a smoothie mix in there and it will work (You need something more creamy too like bananas). I love to mix down strawberries, bananas, blueberries, cherries, blackberries... no milk, no heavy cream only the fruits because the banana makes it creamy. I always fill it up to the very top and it freezes all of it in about 30 min.
