Answer:	Yes it is very easy to clean. The reservoir alone with the heating element lifts out of the unit, that makes it a snape clean.

Answer:	The filter is a built in wire mesh type and doesn't need to be replaced as far as I can tell. The only part that may need to be replaced at some point is the rubber seal around it. Hope that helps. I've been using mine for a few months and absolutely love it. The best part of this fryer is the filter system and how you can drain your oil and store it in the plastic container until you need it again. It makes for cleaning and replacing the oil a breeze.

Answer:	Yes - The 'fry" switch keeps the hot oil separated from the plastic oil storage container while frying. Once the oil has cooled, the switch is turned to drain and it flows into the storage container.

Answer:	Big Ron,I've used it 8x already and probably could maybe squeeze a couple more out. But, I think 8-10 is a good estimate depending on the type of foods your cooking. I've used it to cook meat, desserts, ect... in all the same cycle of oil.

Answer:	I found when I just use tapwater, that the bottom of the kettle was turning white from calcium deposits. I would suggest that you use either distilled water, or purified water and see if that makes a difference. First of all though you need to clean that black stuff off by boiling some vinegar with a little water in the kettle and then scraping it off with a scrubby.

Answer:	The side handles and the top handle do not get hot while cooking. The sides also stay pretty cool while cooking. You just have to be careful when opening the lid because there is a lot of condensation that sticks to the bottom of the lid and could drip down and burn you.

Question:	Why would my fryer be leaking oil all over the counter from the bottom? Both during and while not in use
Answer:	I thought mine was leaking but it just needed cleaning. The basket was clogged with breading & waste from many uses so when I cooked the oil boiled. The bubbling oil seeped out of the back of the lid and ran down the back of the fryer onto the counter. I found the mess the next morning and blamed the fryer. Maybe your situation was different but in my case the "leak" was the result of my not cleaning often enough. You can let this thing go for several uses, but not forever :-)

Answer:	The fryer does not "rotate" inside the unit, however, the basket "lowers" into the basin by lifting the handle into an extended position, and it can be moved around easily by hand, or be held up over the hot oil by a catch hook on the basket/basin until you are ready to cook, or it can be removed altogether for cooking or cleaning. The inside of the fryer is Teflon coated, but it is permanently attached to the pan. It does clean up very easily, but you can not immerse the whole unit all the way into the water. The whole unit is very light, so this makes it remarkably easy to move and to clean.

Answer:	Question 1- How much oil?Answer: Around 70oz. of oil at the "max" line and 60oz at the "min" line. I pour nearly the entire contents of a 64 oz bottle of oil until it is half-way between the "min" and "max" lines. Never go over the max line or you will experience a spill over during operation which is a dangerous situation. My oil of choice is Canola oil which has a higher burn temperature than vegetable oil. Of course you can use Canola, Vegetable or Peanut Oil.Question 2 - Is it good for people who want to diet?I am not a nutritionist, but it is hard for me to think that deep fried anything is good for you in excess whether you are on a diet or not. I am a calorie counter and thus I stop eating when I reach my limit and yet I do not avoid any foods, whether fried, fast foods or bags of chips. Yes, I do count out single servings of fries, chips. I find that a change in life style is better for me in lieu of the word diet. Answer:	Well, that question I can not guarantee that the T-fal Saute pan is scratch free. As with most non-stick pans metal utensils are not recommended. The pan I have does not have any scratches on it and not everyone in my household use wood or plastic cooking utensils. I am really satisfied with my T-fal Saute Pan, I'm sure so will you.

Answer:	No, this pan cannot be used on an induction burner. It is misleading for a seller to say that it can. The materials inside the box say that some T-fal cookware is induction compatible, and to refer to outer packaging if unsure. It took me awhile to find the information on the box, but eventually found small icons that indicate the cookware is compatible with gas, electric, ceramic and halogen, but is silent as to induction. Apparently, that tells you it is not induction compatible. To be sure, I tested the pan - it does not work on an induction burner. Apparently, only larger capacity stainless steel T-fal pots and pans are induction compatible. I have found T-fal cookware to be of good quality and don’t understand why the company has made information regarding induction compatibility so difficult to discern.

Answer:	At the risk of sounding snide - it depends on the size of the pieces... When I do chicken / party wings, I usually max out at 12-15 with oil at the max level. For standard thighs I would estimate 8, maybe 10 max. Probably 3 split breasts.
